A Rather Lovely Altercation (Gorillaz Fan Animatic)

I absolutely adored this audio clip from the Gorillaz Itunes Interview, so I decided to make an animatic out of it! This took roughly four days to make.
Also, I realize this audio takes place in Phase 3, but I decided to draw them in their Phase 4 clothing just because I wanted to draw 2D's high rising jeans.

Look up Pirate Radio episode 4, by cosmicfae. Near the 30 minute mark 2D yells he's being held prisoner and calls for help. Murdoc knocks him out then as well. It's some nightmare fuel. Yeah, 2D has legit reasons to be pissed off.

Honestly, that scene right after the fight where Murdoc forces 2D to pass out has always given me shivers, and not like “oh that’s some nice music” shivers or “this is such cool voice acting” or whatever, but more of an uncomfortable feeling because 2D’s in such a vulnerable position *NO- SHUT UP YOU DIRTY-MINDED FIFTH GRADERS* and Murdoc is both going insane and is hopelessly intoxicated. It’s just- it’s a different thing for it to be implied and for it to be acted out. Also why did he make those noises- that wasn’t breathing, that was like a really rabid squirrel or something

Lmao! That was great! Had me cracking up! I actually had a dream last night that i was in a music store and there was a bunch of 2D and Murdoc stuff such as posters and shirts! I was so excited but i never got to buy anything. I think they actually sell Gorillaz T shirts at Hot Topic, or at least they used to. I wanna head over there soon and hopefully get one
