I remember Paulo making a video some months ago about being depressed over a losing streak, I'm so glad that he won that YCS, it show us that the most important quality of a champion is perseverance.

I wish they had a bluff toggle in md. On that note, sometimes I'll have a useless handtrap like honest neos in my hand but I'll have toggle off and then turn it on after my opponent's fifth summon to bluff a nibiru and it sometimes works 😂 too bad this doesn't work if you don't have any handtraps in your hand tho

Cuts are so much better now i had to give you a couple vids but production and pace is great. Your def imo. The best commentary channel the other guys let thier who's get to thier head. Keep up the good hard work. You and fresh off the press are the best yugioh channels cause you guys complain the least and have and don't talk or if you're ass. I appreciate that your well spoken. And you actually usually spot on with your takes. And what you articulate is what I've been seen in me. The difference between old school players and new school players being able to understand sticks and stones. You go like you said and understand the importance of making these decisions. That is lost in a lot of the new age players, since they never had time and experience in those types of formats. Which gives older players good advantages.

You’ve definitely highlighted something special. I have not seen very many people provide retrospective coverage of a feature match. I think that your commentary is well-informed, and provides us with the necessary details to make out what is happening. And why certain combos are so crucial, especially their sequencing. I’ve learned a lot from it! So thank you

might need to peep german nationals for some more interesting gameplay you can analyse. Especially how the german Champion won one of his earlier rounds because his opponent didnt say the activation of sheep and run over it, did dmg and won in timeout.

Realistically, it wasn't the greatest bluff. By passing turn and not making him waste any interruptions, Paulo probably already knew that he had no engine and it was only interaction (since all the Snake-Eyes decks are roughly the same core even down to HT line ups). Outside of random going second pieces, it was highly likely that it was just hand traps. Bluffing was a hail mary to hope he wouldn't over extend and kill but even if he used the hand traps, unless he top decked engine, the game was already over. And he would have needed engine extenders to continue which he didn't have so that is not breaking through double Imperm and Ash.

Handtraps make the game alot more interesting, it gives the game another layer of deepness in my opinion. Ofc sometimes its just unga bunga shifter you lose but if you have to think what you have to bait out and what to play when is kind of interesting.

@@Eru_3ru it only makes the game more interesting and layered when your meta deck doesn't have like 5 million 1 card combos that you can play 2-3 of each that lead into nearly half or even full boards. not to mention how many decks basically get a second turn when yours starts so even if you stop the first combo slightly with a handtrap that they just played past anyway they just continue the rest of their 10-15+ card combo on the start of your turn on upon you first trying to do any interaction of your own.
