Dakinis are simply female practitioners of Tantra and Yoga, who have acquired perfection in spiritual wisdom. They're also called Khandro, Yogini, Vajrini, Kulyogini, Kaulini, Bhairavi, Samayacharini etc. Their significance is no less than a goddess.

The background chanting is equally moving. The spiritual masters on whom this Jetsunma called are all true persons. None of them wear any mask; none of them make are fakes. this is another great thing about this great video. And as to someone's feedback that also says "then pose for photos while chanting", I believe any one of us in that situation would naturally give a moment to a photographer who wants to record such moments. This is certainly not "posing".

Many here have the wrong impression that dakini has to do with being beautiful, even if they won't admit they have this idea, like you say about a girl "she's an angel" they will say "she's a dakini" if she's beautiful, gracious, kind etc. But the meaning of dakini is something else.
