in Ängelholm, Sweden, I saw a Hare(jackrabbit?) that i first thought was a small kangaroo(wallaby?) that had escaped a circus or a zoo transport or something. It was sitting in a big plot of farm land that just had started to grow up and when i got closer i thought maybe it is a deer.......but then it took off in super speed and it was obvious on how it moved that it was a huge rabbit(Hare as we call them here). I managed to get some pictures with my "¤"#¤ iphone 3g which was the latest at the time, but camera not so good and the Hare is a bit camouflaged in the field, so it is pixel hunting when watching the images :P I have never seen a Hare that big before and I lived about half my life in the woods in sweden while growing up..... Maybe a genetic freak or something :P like how our pikes in sweden can grow much larger than people used to think.....I blame Chernobyl :P

Great video, thank you! You can't appreciate the size of these things unless in person. Your video does a pretty good job because if one knows the size of the foliage around it, etc.... My Jack story....I have a toy poodle, Archie. He's not a yappy thing....he's a real dog, a country boy...it's just I'm allergic to shedding dogs and I travel (fly) a lot so I need a dog that won't make me wheeze and can fit in a carrier on a plane. So, anyway......we go for a walk every day and there are tons of cottontails and Archie's greatest joy in life is to chase them. He's super fast and could catch them but they corner much better than he does, so they are safe. One day we're walking along and all of a sudden he scares a jackrabbit up out of the brush and off they go. Now, Jack is just doing that bouncy jackrabbit thing where they come down on all four legs at once, and Archie is hard on his tail...literally. He's right next to him (the rabbit was a bit bigger than the dog, lol) and as they are running Archie reaches over and seems to try and put his mouth on Jack. Jack says, "aww, hell naw." and turns on the afterburners. He shoots outta there so fast it was like in the cartoons when all you see is a trail of dust and flames on the ground. Archie wasn't discouraged.....he turned on his afterburners, although they were not nearly as powerful, and eventually they had both disappeared over the horizon. I kept walking and about 20 minutes later Archie returned, laughing and grinning, quite pleased with himself. The next day we were out walking and I saw three jackrabbits together. They were too far away for Archie to see them, but it was fun watching them lope across the prairie. They are something to see when they do that jackrabbit bounce.

@hlalakar41563 жыл бұрын
@@AirstreamArgosy Nothing. In Wyoming fish and game law the term "predator" is a classification that denotes what would probably be better described as "varmints". In other words, over abundant problematic animals that can be harvested without a license. IDK why they decided to call them predators.
