Thank you, Ben. Your advice is giving me some direction. Your thoughts on market direction and profit-taking are reassuring. I often get this doubt in my mind that I'm not seeing the market right. I'm in Australia and I watch the NYMEX Crude Oil futures contract. Dealing with my own fear and doubts is probably my biggest hurdle. Thanks again for being there.

I think that the charts mean little if CPI remains high and Fed hawkish. We'll see tomorrow. Even if CPI is at or below the expected rate, I'd need to see a third

Correct me if I'm wrong as well as according to what you were mentioning, if you are a day trader it is basically not logical to plot levels higher than the 1 hour right? At most maybe use a different color for levels shared by the 1HR/2HR or 1HR/4HR to know they may be stronger levels??

That would depend on where you placed your stop loss. Research "stop loss" and watch some examples to get a better understanding of them and how they protect your account from excess loss.

Ben , i lost 7k last week on a sell trade audusd , price was making a set up for bearish move then reversed and kept going up all week , i was stopped out lost 6700$ , i did not use stop loss when ever i use it price takes it down, i lost interest lost hope with trading actually i feel its a big scam from big money makers to collect money from the average person. im not a us citizen and 7k is a huge amount for me , i dont know where to go from here, i had big hopes attached with trading now i feel i was scammed .

Crazy how you have so much patience waiting for your setup. That blows my mind. When market opens and it starts to trend up how do you wait and stay patient as well as fight your conflicting beliefs about “oh it won’t come to my setup so I have to get in at this swing high because it’s a trending market and it most likely will pull back to this swing high and not back down to my support horizontal entry or level” crazy how much patience you have Ben

@@tradelikezach yeah it’s crazy because when the market breaks out and it’s consistently going upwards I wait for it to pullback and I get in because that’s my setup but I am just always losing which causes me to jump the gun and then after it comes back to my support entry level which is usually my setup and then I tell myself to be more patient but then I just hesitate

@Ivan Arenas Sometimes price won't pullback to give you a good entry and sometimes price will not be pulling back but reversing. You need to understand where price is likely going and where it can reverse. I recommend studying ICT free on yt
