Thank you for this journey through parts of West Greenville. My wife and I are considering retiring to the Greenville area next year. We have spent several visits to your historic, beautiful city. We are very aware of the changes taking place. They cut both ways, clearly. We know gentrification in our own village on Long Island, New York. It is now complete, and we can no longer afford to live here. So we look south and hope we can just live in Greenville and not screw it up. :)) We are normal people. What i worry most about in Greenville is the displacement of people of color from there hometown. It already happened here.
