I'm...so speechless everytime I watch this MV. I just can't wrap my head around it. They all wrecked me. This freaking San&Wooyoung duo ILOST, Yeosang's voice bro.. I can't... I just...my men are killing it everytime.

The thrillers are here with Halazia. This song gives me goosebumps and is a total drama show in an mv. Love the vocals and the ball drop at the end is amazing. They always leave you wanting more and set you up for the next drop of music, YAY ATEEZ

Your "Seonghwa WTF" is extremely relatable

The Halazia performance practice is out, it'll blow your mind, it's the whole song + a short intro which was cool in itself.

I haven't seen anyone mention it yet so maybe I'm way off but what I see during Yunho's scenes is that he looks like he's sitting inside the cromer/hourglass, and it's broken. The sand is everywhere, and the rocks floating above his hand kind of look like chunks of glass. That makes the transition from Wooyoung/San to Yunho while the camera turns upside down even more potent, if Yunho was inside the cromer. Absolutely my favorite ATEEZ release thus far. And Yeosang's part is my favorite part, I'm so glad we got to see him singing in his lower register, he sounds so amazing.

STORYLINE: they live in a world where expressing emotions are prohibited, music, art, poetry is not allowed. In this MV you can see a scarecrow that is a member of Halateez out their song "HALA HALA", they died trying to fight the regime, Halazia are the new eight, who will carry on the legacy to fight. Only Ateez would kill themselves off lol. I really love this comeback, it’s soo good. Thanks for the reaction!

There's so much SYMBOLISM! I know v v little about the lore so heap of salt and all that, but: The MV is about saviors (Hala!Ateez) that can't come back and we get church bells, we get an organ, we get the sign of the cross - with a hunched position and frantic footwork that SCREAM of desperation. Gravity is gone and people have lost their emotions is connected - gravity, a sense of weight to things, a sense of meaning, is lost and so people no longer feel. The orbs are the emotion, or the soul or spirit, however you want to frame it, and the effort to pull one down, to get back what they've lost, it WORKS. Not just for San but for everyone (rain fall) and it gives them back their voices (the blue bird Yeosang sang about chirping at the end). Seonghwa emulates the effigy's pose (standing before the FREEDOM graffiti), Mingi asks 'Who are you?' with the hat on, as if Hala!Ateez is asking who they are to take their place, and Jongho says we are the voice that will overturn the world. The hat burns and they pull on their hoods (replacing where the hats would be), the effigy burns (renouncing the saviors) and THEN they pull the orb (which has gotten even higher while they waited) down - no more waiting for someone to save us, we save ourselves. It's reflected in the music too, the little builds that back off every time (a spark of hope then it's dashed) until the bridge. We think the chanting is the peak then it ramps up even higher into the dubstep. It's hope REALIZED bc they're no longer depending on someone else, they're coming together (chanting, chains) and doing it themselves. The witnesses (watching at the end) seem... not real? The disappearing in the prologue and the way we see Seonghwa glitch in that distorted view of him with the effigy, the witnesses seem more like holograms than people. It reminds me of the Matrix and how there had been many human cities, and many saviors, and none of it mattered bc it wasn't a challenge to the machines, it was their way of maintaining control in the face of a species who so desperately want life to be real, to be themselves and in control. Doubt it's quite the same thing but in the sense of a technologically advanced, dispassionate observer keeping an eye on what these strange creatures are up to? Yeah kinda similar. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk lol (ps the award show dance practice seems to be the normal choreo, just with a very short intro, not a remixed version for award season)

i think she’s aware that the practice video is out, she’s just wondering if theyll upload a version that isn’t for a music / award show. but anyway i recommend it as well. the intro + full song is amazing!

HALA means Halateez and Zia means Sunlight so this song aims at a prayer anthem dedicated to the saviour of humanity (halateez) who are probably dead now. The strictland government from their last comeback guerilla got them and hanged the scare crow as an epitome of what happens if you go against the government. This scares the people. The world is getting destroyed and people are praying for their saviour to save them. The emotions are dying. The world is turning colourless. This is when a new 8 arises. This new 8 is no one else but feverteez from A galaxy who enters the strictland with the help of Chromer. They disguise themselves as halateez and take over their place in order to complete the mission, save humanity and "be the light" (zia) for those people (that halateez failed to achieve). The moon represents the lost gravitation of the earth. It is an accumulation of all the human elements and emotions that has taken a place of a sphere. San sacrifices himself to pull back the ball against the loss of gravity. (Yeosang and chains are evident because of zero gravity. Yunho in the chromer with his hands escaping the elements rising upwards is an indication.) In the end the ball falls and San absorbs it. We dont know if San is alive but we do know he brought back thr emotions again. He brought back the gravity again (rain drops falling on the earth's surface in the end). Those 4 witnesses at the end are probably the students that escaped the strictland University. They are the witness.

This was the song that started my ATEEZ journey. I just fell in love with all the lore and symbolism in all of their MVs and lyrics and even choreo. It's so intricate and interesting and they're so talented and charismatic and SWEET

This IS THE COMEBACK DAAAMN. It gave us Halateez lore back plus the emotional state I got while listening to Answer (my fave TT). It’s so beautiful

t's the continuation of Movement and the World. it's the sequel of Guerrilla. the world lost gravity, and all the emotion are lost and trapped in this ball over their heads. they're the revolutionary that trying to save the world from this darkness and cold world with no emotions. "the blue little bird that has lost his voice" it's a wonderful metaphor (and the wonderful deeeeeeeep voice of YEAOSSSSNNNNG, fits it very well), so then there's some "group of revolutionary" , one with Seonghwa in white behind the scarecrow and all his followers in white, ( like you have say the scarecrow has the outfits of Hala Hala, it's seems like a "warning "for the people, made from a" higher power" to tell to not follow them) and the other groups, in a crave I supposed, leading by Jongho all in black, that seems all of them are ready to prepare the revolution. The scarecrows at the end burning and the San put the ball down on him to let the emotion free to return into the world. Wooyoung , san and Yunho seems prisoners in somewhere, and W&S see to have a straitjackets, like a crazy in an asylum. Yeosang it's puts into this arena, tangled in this heavy chain like a gladiator, but the think it's he can speak.(the little blue birds). The people in white at the end are the witness, i supposed, that keep their eyes on them. Burning the Hat of Hala Hala means the beginning of a new kind of revolution, and another things; don't you seems that Yumho it's in chain in a sort of big broken hourglass? their Hourglass. this is only my opinion, and interpretation, let me know if you are agree, or you could see something else, I'm waiting for your reaction. thankxx

I haven’t watched Alice in Borderline but I’ve seen other people who have make the same comparison. You should react to the dance practice with the intro. The intro isn’t that much and I think it will be the only one. The fixed camera performance is also worth watching but better for Patreon probably. This song and dance are so good and I am in love with Yeosang’s part.

THINA I LOVE your new setup. I'm so in love with Halazia, like it's so beautiful I CRIED. It feels like the point in Lord of the Ring: Two Towers, where they're beginning to give up hope on the fight of defending during the Battle of Helm's Deep. The reality of how much has been lost starts to set in and society is starting to give up hope. And then the comeback impact happens during the " (No more, keep control)" part, and into the dance break. Seonghwa even has pseudo-similar garb to Gandalf at the turning point (second chorus.) THERE ARE SO MANY DANCE MOMENTS. During the first verse where San literally comes through an arm hole created by Seonghwa, ALL OF THE WOOSAN MOMENTS, second part of the 1st chorus where Jongho NAILS THAT ARM WAVE, second chorus with YESOANGS GRRR FACE. THE FUCKING END DANCE BREAK.

Although they haven't put an official performance video out their choreographers BBTrippin have put out their dance practice of Halazia. It is WELL worth the watch, so do yourself a favor and check it out!!!
