WTF DOES “OG KPOP STAN" EVEN MEAN?!⬇️
Supposedly "original gangster”, can be seen as “old generation", personally viewed as “old-school”.🤓 I’ve been into Korean music since 1998 when I was 15, and using “kpop stan” is more catchy (super cringe or not) than “person who’s listened to Korean music since 1998”, amirite or AMIRITE.😂 For a bit of dance background details, feel free to check out my "About" section!

I imagine the members enjoyed this quite a bit considering they were really passionate about LUNA and fought to have it be their title track. Hwanwoong went as far as making choreo for the chorus that they then filmed themselves doing and presented to the CEO along with a powerpoint presentation with costume, set ideas, etc. It feels so gratifying that the blood, sweat, and tears they put into this mini album has paid off and that it's been so well-received by people. Thank you for taking the time to react to this. ❤️

@@tana-db4he All that information was revealed in bits and pieces during a bunch of different vlives and the comeback showcase. The powerpoint and initial choreo video they put together have not been released and likely never will be, unfortunately.

They had other songs with traditional influence: Lit (2019) and a taekwondo version from 2021 that they rearranged the entire song with more and switch parts. They colab with K Tigers and is amazing! Hwanwoong made the choreography of the dance break! And Intro Window from the same album of Luna and is incredible the opening of the album and connection to Luna! Love how they always bring their culture in their songs ♥

Rbw 4th gen group giving the big 3 groups a run for their money… Purple kiss and oneus have one of the best vocal lines, rap line, and dance line in all of the 4th gen group

"Luna" got Oneus their first show win (which was so overdue) - The dance practice video is beyond EPIC! As a former dancer, you know how very difficult it is to dance with a prop and to have it in unison. Their hard work and precision is so evident! I have to give this "the best" choreo of 2021 - Oneus continuously up's their game every comeback!

Seeing only their MV, I'd only focused on their visuals, the song and the story in it. After checking their dance practice, just like u, I thought, "Dang!! This is art, not just a ordinary idol-ish choreography". Thank you so much for reacting to Oneus. It's better late than never, and u are no longer late!!!

Thanks Thina! Love how they incorporated traditional instruments and dance again in their music! They made reference to these traditional Korean dances: Buchaechum, Seungmu and Talchum. Oh, Hwanwoong participated in the choreography for Luna. He did Xion's 1st verse and the chorus! And the members participated a lot more for this album!

They select outfits, make-up, concept, lyrics and composition in almost all the tracks for this album and made a powerpoint to convince the CEO to made Luna the title track and they win. And they also got their 1st win in music shows, they were the 1st boy group of 4th gen to got 1st win in Show Champion!!

thank you for the reaction! i am a huge tomoon and have loved all of oneus’ releases, but Luna definitely takes the cake for me. it’s truly a beautiful song and performance (I recommend their live stages for this song, as well). Your commentary was great! I liked the nuances that you picked out that I didn’t notice! Also, many of the circular imagery, etc. was to represent a flower. the song title is Chinese for “beauty under the moon” and has something to do with a flower that only blooms at night. the point choreo, where they clasp their hands and bring their fingers together, is to represent a flower blooming (and was choreographed by Hwanwoong)!

What I like about watching different reaction videos is that every person has different perspective and every person can add their point of view to the one and the same video. It depens on their live choices, live views and so much more other things. But still every person can catch what is the most important: Oneus' perspective, even when it's a little of it. Uff los conocí con Black Mirror y me encantó si baile comencé a investigar más sobre ellos, en realidad yo no seguía ningún grupo, conocía a BTS y Twice pero en si solo era oyente. Oneus me cambio la perspectiva del K-pop después ví Lit y me fascinó aún más. Ellos tienen talento y espero que en sus próximos trabajos lo hagan tan bien como en Luna y tengan el éxito que se merecen. Mientras tanto tienes nueva suscriptora 💖🙂

Seoho, the one with the brown/olive shirt who does the jump after the fan in the beginning, tends to be the one who does acrobatic stuff, he does the backflip in Twilight MV and can tumble, so they just used his performance grace with this choreo.... shame outside of performing, he's the biggest klutz in the kpop game lmao
