Found in Dungeon Magazine #3 and written by David Howery. This adventure is a good way to place a Brigand/Bandits Castle into your campaign. Its a self contained modular adventure that can easily fit in almost any campaign setting.
To find the magazine itself, you can either google it, or if your lucky someone may have it on Ebay.

Silence spell IMHO must alert smart enemies like humans. Imaging you sit in one room and 10 your bandit buddies in another. You hear their muffled laughter, banter, snoring, occasionally breaking balls to each other and next second suddenly is dead silence. You probably will go and investigate what is happened.

The old magazines had some really good adventures, I've used many over the years. Some true gems to be found there

They are, we wish that there were inexpensive RPG magazine subscription that would still do stuff like this, but it seems that there's not enough interest and the magazin business has died out

I've run this several times using B/X / OSE at cons and for friends. It gives great sense of freedom of choice when there really isn't much of any!

I love your reviews especially of lesser know modules and I think your rating system is perfect. I think this is an adventure I would run but it does seem like you would need a fairly smart group.

Gives a 3/5 Value to something that's literally free online. WTH earns a 5/5, the author pays you to read the adventure and gives you a foot massage while you're doing so?

Yeah, I'd give it a 5 out of 5 for that. (If you're actually being serious, because I have to be legal about it and not mention certain places that we both know exist and can be found, so.... Ebay price it is)
