Bangladesh is in the midst of a rapid period of industrial development that’s fast-tracking its economic growth. But in the capital Dhaka, the cost of industrialisation is a river that’s so polluted its water has turned black. The Buriganga River has been polluted by industrial run-off from the city’s tanneries, dyeing the waters and filling them with harmful chemicals such as chromium and cadmium.

Bangladesh finally closes tanneries long condemned for deadly pollution sc.mp/EOeDHc

It is foolish to blame environmental pollution on official corruption alone. Environmental pollution caused by the industrialization process is not a problem encountered in Bangladesh alone. The garbage in the Ganges River in India, the air quality around Beijing, and so on. The environmental problems need not only a lot of money, but also more advanced pollution and waste treatment technology; this is not the most effective means, only advanced industrial technology can effectively reduce the output of industrial waste, but the money, advanced industrial and pollution and waste treatment technology are in the hands of developed countries that have managed industrialization, which is also advocated in the World Climate Conference that the developed western world provides advanced technology to the third world to reduce This is the reason why the developed Western world, as advocated in the World Climate Conference, provides advanced technologies to the third world to reduce greenhouse gases.

And then the people will blame the government for not taking initiatives. It's time for the people to be conscious of their own actions. Yes, the government can take initiative and implement rules and regulations but the people too should follow the steps. If the people don't themselves follow any rules then what's the point? As if mother nature is bothered. Duh, she knows how to heal herself. How? Soon residents of that place wiil feel her wrath. Wiping them all as the condition makes the place unlivable and unhealthy. Then problem solve for mother nature. No humans no problems. Let them face the consequences

@@oneone8318 Of course; such has already started even barring pollution. However, given life persist in even the most hostile environments on earth, I posit that life will continue to exist, in some simple form or another, regardless of the state the planet finds itself in from internal action.

it's a cycle of capitalism, i doubt any country that looks to become developed can escape this. There is not enough domestic demand to meet an industrial revolution, the demand has to come from heavy consumption based country namely EU and the US. Capitalism has it that import would have to be cheap enough to satisfy margin, therefore, cost would have to be low enough. The only way to have much lower cost than the consumption destination is through lack of environment concern and labor laws. There is reason why their export sector has grown so much. Not saying it is right thing but it seems to be how free market works to a degree. you can't get everything and expect not to lose something in return.

It is to clean and most of the raw materials are already at the waters. It is recommendable to have numerous E-F Incinerators that can harness and convert the materials as energy, in order to bring back life to the waters. To clean the waters by the word. KJV 1611 Preserved.
