Nice rig! I have a midnight edition and am starting to customize it. Definitely going to do the suspension mods. 👍

I've had couple sets of the 3D lowering blocks you did better going with the rc4wd aluminum man they hold up way better. The 3D print ones eventually break, guy thats in a group I know has to print new ones for his all the time

Almost every time with the aftermarket shafts you have to shave the outputs to be able to install the set screws. The Rc4wd outputs are longer than most other manufacturers

6:00 They are 1.7 inner diameter, not sure about OD or width

Etsy has the keys you want, my buddy sent me link but I've lost it, he watches your videos so I'm sure he will comment. I don't get into the weathered stuff but that came out nice Rc brother. Great video thanks for sharing with us

I made keys with scale diamond plate scraps and the clasp loop of a cheap silver necklace as a key ring. I used a very fine center punch to put holes in the keys after shaping them with a needle file. Then tweezers to put the keys on the ring and close it up. I also used a gold sharpie to make one of the keys look brass lol It was painstaking 😭

Love simplez clean builds like this. I ordered the blocks off rc4wd after watching. Im assuming their lift blocks become lowering blocks if just put under the axel.

Sort of did you have to do a little adjustment on the steering but I'm sure you can figure it out really appreciate you watching this video Thank you!

I did the same with the Gmade sawback chassis ,they look way over lifted when stock in my eyes ,same with the tf2 but that now looks right ..looks like a 2” lift on a 1-1 hi lux 👍👍👍

Awesome I always wanted to get one of those Gmade rigs... I was trying to go with a lowered kind of 2 wheel drive TF2 look. I think I accomplished what I was envisioning! appreciate you stopping by.

It looks like the front driveshaft hits the transmission. Does it? Also, with the body on and sitting there, is the front suspension bottomed out? Or is there any more up travel before the axle hits the servo horn or driveshaft hits the transmission? Thanks.
@ozboy81445 ай бұрын
I raise my servo horn with some k&k spacers it's something that you need to do when definitely lowering the truck. For the axles I do rub a little bit and you have some other axles that the pumpkin is on the opposite side which you can pick up on eBay I have a video of those on my other Toyota Mojave... Also for the shock towers you can get the taller ones that helps out I think that's what I did for this one but yes when you lower it you will have a little bit of issues but you can address some. Appreciate you stopping by

nice shifting the leaf spring under the axle to make it lowering down, anyway did it affected the movement of the motor forward and backward?
@ozboy81448 ай бұрын
No I did not do any modifications to the motor just raise the servo a little higher than normal
