Today, we're saying goodbye to one of the sweet girls who we've welcomed into our home for about the last 9 months. This is, by far, the hardest part about being a foster family. We will miss her so dearly.

I like how Lucy said “we aren’t called to be comfortable we aren’t called to comfort we are called to do hard things for gods glory.” I completely agree that saying goodbye is the hardest part in fostering children, but know they will always be with you in your hearts.

I’m so sorry for you guys but that really is the hardest part of foster care. Me and my family will probably never do it, because our family is already really busy in the first place and my whole family really would like to foster but we just can’t. I’m so glad that you guys know you’re calling, and you do it.

I have a broken elbow because of a tornado that hit me and I broke it cos I was running into my house and I was blown down on the floor and landed on my elbow on a step and I broke my radius and ulna so badly that it’s needed emergency surgery that night it’s was tomorrow nights ago and I getting tomorrow and right now I have a bandage splint and a sling 😭everyone keep me in your prayers pls

@@londonl7023 thanks it was a hard few days and i deaf too in both ears and I have hearing aids in both ears and I have dislocated my left kneecap in the fall too and I needed a wheelchair and a knee brace for 10 days and I need a full arm cast for 8 weeks and then a sling for 6 weeks after the cast comes off and the pins get pulled out

I'm so grateful that you have opened up your house, and hearts to these children. But I am also very grateful that your sweet little girl was able to be reunited with her family members. Cps is not always honest when they remove children from their homes. A lot of times they take children from the parents who love and care for them. And keep them with parents who don't. There is a need for fostering and the whole purpose is to reunite them with their family. Many children get adopted out against their parents will, due to corruption. Thank you for sharing so much love to her and making a everlasting bond with her. Your a special family.
