This was full anime lol. The protagonist close to loosing, then his friends cheer for him, then he’s doing a comeback, then he’s getting punched in the face again, then a rival who seems like a asshole cheers him on in his own, kinda insulting way, then he wins. That is how anime works right?

Only difference was this was 3 minutes and anime drags that out over 3 episodes.

i absolutely LOST IT WHEN SQUARES APPEARED AHVHGUSHGHSH and when i kept playing as marle in fusion mode (because i lvoe her a lot) i go like “man how come i only win with her and not the rest” and i just now figured out why

I remember when I went around four-starring the adventure levels in PPT2. I believe I quickly realized the key to Fusion is you want to try and make it so that hard-dropping a Tetris piece (which destroys garbage blocks) would simultaneously make lines AND cause Puyo chains, get that crossover combo going.

Yup! Marle and Carbuncle being the best characters for it and Arle being the worst as she only gets pairs in her dropset
