My husband and I were in the Appalachian mountains on the Tennessee side this past weekend. We enjoyed the scenery and becoming familiar with camping. We will retire in 3 years. Our plan is to buy a van or a camper to travel. Thank you for sharing. You give soon to be retirees encouragement to live out their dreams.

Sometimes spontaneity is the best travel plan and the best medicine for total enjoyment! What a beautiful, serene, and peaceful excursion through mountainous East Tennessee and Western North Carolina. I'm so glad and thankful that you both allowed me to come along on this fantastic excursion. You both are awesome and so special in so many ways! Always know that you are loved by many people! I think it takes 10 years maybe alittle more for Christmas trees to grow for harvest. North Carolina is 2nd in the nation for Christmas tree production.

Hi, I have just found your channel tonight. I subscribed after watching the first video..the Roaring Fork one. One of my favorite places!! Riding around "exploring" together was our favorite thing to do when my husband was still with me. I lost him to cancer 3 yrs ago. He was a victim of Camp LaJeun's contaminated water. It's great to see you two enjoying your travels together. Take advantage of every day together and cherish each moment. Make it happen often! And keep the videos coming. I know many, many people enjoy watching them. Also, my sister-in-law lives in the tip top eastern corner of TN near the NC line in a little place called Flag Pond. So, this video really reminded me of our last trip together, which was visiting her there in Flag Pond. Thank you for your excellent videos. You do a great job. ☺️❤️🙏
