Day one of a motorcycle adventure exploring the far corner of Essex.
Tendring is a district right up in the far north eastern corner of Essex. Famous for having one of the most ruthless Witch Finders in the UK’s history, and also famous for having one of the single most important towns in the USA’s history.
Go any further north, and you’re up to the Stour river that separates Suffolk and Essex, and go any further east, and you’re into the north sea, and Rotterdam in the Netherlands is the next bit of land you’ll come across.

I love you guys you’re so adventurous. I used to be like you in my 20’s/30’s. Recently had a few anxiety issues that have held me back… I long for a free mind again to be able to enjoy things like you. You inspire me to sort my stuff out. Top banana. When my, motorcycle-fearing, wife wants to watch a motorcycle channel with me it’s a significant barometer of quality. It’s all too easy to write the UK off as a good place to go riding, especially down south, but you’ve demonstrated otherwise Freddie & Monika. I sadly had to cancel a recent few days touring in the Black Forrest, but channels like yours inspired me to explore Wales, Pembroke to Snowdon - HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Ahem, I might say that here in Cornwall just above the private beach which belonged to Daphne Du Maurier we have another such tower called The Gribbin and it is owned by the National Trust. Open during the summer, the views are spectacular although the walk to it is a bit longer.

Freddie its mike from las Vegas, been watching your videos for sometime now really love you two. one thing I'm curious about, you always have coffee you never have tea. I though in England you always had tea. I remember in all the English war movies I watched they would stop the war for tea time. Is that out of fashion now with the younger Britts? I'm 78 so maybe I'm out of touch. I'm thinking about trying a triumph, old Harley guy here. bought my first one in 66. never had anything else. after watching your videos I like to try one. your giving me a great look at England and Europe. you tube is great keep it up. My crystal ball showed me your next bike. A Honda CB1100 cafe model with gleaming chrome fenders. Monica enjoyed the extra horsepower too. 2022 was its last production year. Some great used buys are out there. And you can't beat Honda reliability.
