A Secret Club 33 Cocktail Recipe

We're veering off of the vintage tiki path for a moment in order to explore a cocktail that was created in the namesake of Disney artist, McBiff, for the private and exclusive Club 33 in Disneyland.
To make The McBiff:
--------------------------------------
1 1/2 oz Rye Whiskey
1/2 oz Smith and Cross
1/4 oz Fernet
1/4 oz Simple Syrup
6 dashes Angostura Bitters
Laphroaig
Coat rocks glass with Laphroaig. Muddle orange peel, stir with large ice cube

I've been drinking Laphroaig for years. My niece got me got me one of the extra aged ones a few years ago for Xmas. I opened it, and I swear it smelled like the Fall of Rome scene in Spaceship Earth. Very burndy.

laphroaig scotch is one of my most favorite scotch whiskeys 🥃 makes my soul happy 👍👍👍👍 McBiffs face when you said old shore leather was amazing 😂😂😂😂 I am doing a review soon on my channel of his stone box. Set 😎🍺

I've heard of an absinthe rinse, but a peat rinse is not one I've heard of. Thic is such a cool Sazerac riff. Sounds very heavy on the bitter components with all that Ango and Fernet though, but I like some bitterness.

A. What an interesting recipe; an Old Fashioned plus rum and an Islay. I'll have to find some bar to make it for me sometime. 2. Cole's has an amazing speakeasy in the back so they must have invented the French Dip. CASE CLOSE. IV. Where are you getting a jar of Luxardo cherries for ONLY $17???

Man I love Cole's too!!! They make the best Old Fashioned!!!🥃 Shout out to Leandro the Bartender there!!! Spike if you ever need clear rocks of ice look up Penny Pound Ice. They are the best!!! They make several sizes and shapes including spheres. They also make pebble ice. They are located in the Arts District in DTLA.

Too funny they replaced a $150 rum with S&C at such an “exclusive” club. McBiff...Laphroiag is great stuff in mixed drinks, even a Smokey martini! Such a funny episode!
