That stem does have a name. It’s the ENVE In-Route Stem. Brilliant bit of kit running the same cockpit on my Time ADHX

one thing that carries over from motorcycling is handlebar width, (exaggerated as they are way faster, being assisted by an engine). Look at the handlebars on a racing bike to a trials bike. Slim for fast aero etc on a Racer, Wide bars for better control off road/gravel on a Trials bike.
