Какое безжалостное отношение к дереву , как могли столько гвоздей заколотить....И ведь это было давным-давно, ещё деревья были молодыми. Слэбы получились с интересным дополнением.

@@BelkoWood Когда на Руси умирал мужчина, то в память о нём сажали дуб. Вот и пошло выражение, когда человек умирал, то говорили, что он дал дуба 😁. Но это одна из многочисленных версий. Есть конечно и другие.

There's an old phrase "Iron sharpens iron." You should have the sharpest chainsaw cutting blades with all those nails and spikes in the wood.

@@BelkoWood I would think this is an intermediate iron-steel product. It isn't cast iron and definitely not steel iron. Inbetween there is "rubber steel" and wrought iron. Rubber steel is a less expensive version of softer, easier to dull, and stretchier version of its harder, sharper, and tougher brother wrought iron (for 1800s bridges and constructions).

Наличие железа в двухсот летнем дереве говорит нам о том что, на этой территории была высокоразвитая цивилизация... если ебиптяне строили пирамиды, не зная железа , то здесь этого железа было завались! Куда его девать? - захерачить в молодой дубок несколько гвоздей... пусть потомки вспоминают нас ... да и мы тоже оставим своим потомкам закопанные свалки с ...ну вы понимаете... Обидно как то... There seems to be a lot of inclusions splits, & nails in a log that old. I've seen 150 year old logs pulled from rivers that don't have any splits or inclusions.

Whats with all these people in Belarus hammering in nails and spikes into their trees. Are they hanging up clothes lines between trees - or hammocks, ... or attempting to make some tree house ... or nailing wooden fence lines to trees, or goat/sheep/cow cable runs ... Really unusual instances of this happening - and what trees do these usually come out of ? Any incidence for people nailing spikes into certain trees ?

We have a lot of interesting things in the trees. Starting from ordinary nails and ending with military shells of the Second World War. We got a lot of bullets. Once in the center of a birch they found an ingrown turning tool

@@BelkoWood With me watching all of the Eastern European shows - there is so much devastation of WW II or former times (up to current times) when villages, churches, buildings were just left abandoned, rotting, and falling down - it is incredible to think that anybody lives around there - almost like people after the Black Death of 1348-1350 and population lost, villages depopulated, fields overgrown, forests regrowing the meadows, and wildlife abounding.

@@BelkoWood Some pretty bad shots - if they are shooting at trees - instead of the enemy !!! Trees can't run, scream and attack you, or shoot back ! Or on night guard and getting all spooky - and you should at a tree - when you think it looks like an advancing sniper !

@@BelkoWood Not a problem. Ras-putin-ski will give them the fuel to get to Belarus, and then have them sitting around picking their nose or scratching their a**. Soooo the Belarus people should put them to work planting more trees, forests, windbreaks, chopping down old dead trees, helping with the economy's timber and lumber industry and so many more infrastructure industries - and become worthy individuals and citizens. Swords back into plowshares.
