What happened today?

@@jaykay7180 Hello @jay Kay……well it was a bit of a combo effect 🙂! 1) I pert near cut my thumb off Sunday night, so I’ve got stitches that got mauled last night by someone else’s misbehaving dogs! So I’m stuck on the couch with my arm up! 2) And since I stuck and can’t go outside, I’m reading headlines from multiple sources, and an hour later, just so disappointed in watching my beloved United States falter so egregiously. While I myself am comfortable financially, so much of this country is not…..and when a hard working family, with an excellent work ethic, is simply trying to responsibly raise a couple of children, and can’t afford housing, food, transportation, health care, or education….otherwise known as the BASICS, well to hear this feels like like I’m GRIEVING. Grieving the loss of a loved one…..ya know? And it’s all because of greed, pure and simple. Corporations come first here, and they aren’t held to any accountability as far as ethics. They’re given billions in bailouts, whilst posting record profits. And executive salaries in the hundreds of millions. SERIOUSLY? How is a single person worthy $200 millions USD a year? They’re not! Meanwhile teachers are paid $60k a year while having to spend money on school supplies for kids, and being told “stick it out, you’ll have a good retirement plan” as though that makes up for not being able to afford groceries while they are working! I’m just so sick of shameful behavior by other humans! 🧟‍♀️🔫 So nothing dramatic per se, just the old push and pull!

I’d love to know exactly how she thinks, as she gazes out at the territory she has earned! Does she feel a sense of….pride? I imagine that someday we will somehow be able to KNOW…..and I wish I could be here for it! 🤩
