I'm also the daughter of a narcissistic mother. We've always been a tight-knit family. After many mental breakdowns and crises I went through, she finally started....changing and embarking in a self-discovery journey...as challenging as that's been for her. Today we have a much healthier relationship, with clearer boundaries and respect. So....there's hope. Thanks for the wonderful readings

Reading 1 here. It resonates with my current situation at work. I, too, have an experience with narcissistic mother. As you say, it's a disorder these people are born with and they are incapable of self-reflection. They also lack empathy. And nothing makes them change. My mother hasn't changed until the end. Even terminal illness didn't make her see. She left this world without any kind of resolution, she never asked for forgiveness, she never said "thank you". These people are "socially disabled" so to speak. Stay strong and build your boundaries. It's the only thing one can do with these people.

Pile 3- OmG, I watched your video early this morning, and my hubby came home from dropping off my kid from school at 10 am and said let's go car shopping!😂 I was tired from playing games with a car dealer yesterday, was treated with no respect. It's a sellers' market and they weren't even trying to sell cars. The horrendous and most disrespecting experience ever was the fact that they were up selling a shitty car at an outrageous prices and were caught lying not once, but thrice and were not even apologetic about it!!!! Pile 1… goodness you are always spot on but the Mother thing and independence is literally about to happen. I’m 58 and my mother had to help me and have me move in a over a decade ago when my husband dies and I became disabled .. since then, we kind of switched roles, as I have spiritually grown and need to move forwards on my life path, and she has aged and is cognitively impaired a bit. Now I am living with my parents still.. but I have been the in a sort of caretaking role for a while. She wont or can’t accept who I have become, she treats me like I’m so fragile. This is very kind, but there is a selfish aspect with her wanting to keep me in that role. All I am doing is planning my first vacation in many years… and I’m afraid to tell her as if were a 19 year old screw up 😢
