I started to carry a slim 3in. flashlight with a clip a year ago on a whim, surprisingly I pull it out frequently to use.

My biggest trouble was the lack of a case..

Knives are extremely important and one of the best tools that’s not a firearm to defuse a lot of situations. Someone pulling a gun in self defense usually wants to stop their aggressor from getting close, but a knife says that you’re ready for your aggressor to get close so you can put in work. I’ve always said that I’m more willing to confront someone with a gun than I am someone with any sharp object such as a knife or machete. Fuck that.

I’d recommend looking into getting a good flashlight, from a reputable brand. They’re good for selfdefense, you can use them as an impact device, as well as temporarily blinding and stunning someone. They’re a good non lethal option, as well as a very useful tool.

I'll admit, a while back I stopped keeping up with you and the menswear style crowd, because I felt a stagnation. I felt that I was hearing the same tips over and over, and it felt like a predictable ideology. There was no need to watch the videos anymore, because, well, I could predict everyhting. I went on to look at more free-flow runway fashion and things like that. This, however, has changed my mind. What a well thought out spin on the EDC video, with great care into the cinimatography and production value. This is something that really goes deeper into clothing and what it really menas, with meaningful and contextualized social commentary. Thanks, Tanner.

My EDC is similar except no microfiber cloth or ring, oh and a9mm is included in mine.

I personally think you prefer ease of use over control and customisation (Why apple and not android) the closest thing I carry to a knife is a multi tool with a small blade, the wallet doesn't change anything

Why is everyone making it seem like he’s making it complicated? It’s simple. The thing is you haven’t reached his intellectual conversation and meaning on the content he provides. The WHOLE point of edc is to see what a man carries and why. If you carry a knife that speak a lot of a man which he very much made clear of assumptions and if you don’t does that mean you’re scare, depend on others to do the dirty work for you, or are you just scared of what others may say. That's not a spyder co it's a Byrd which is owned by spyder co they are made to be the same quality of the spyder co but cheaper you can tell that by the shape of the thumb hole it looks like it is modeled off of the worker which is one of spydercos older knives
