Cozy up with a cup and bury under a blanket for a very wintry, snowy day here in Canada - so happy I got to document the snowiest day of the year (so far) where I live, winter is my favourite season so hopefully this spreads a few winter kernels of joy, xoxo

How wonderful the snow looked! I live in the countryside in Europe, and when I was a kid, we used to get just as much snow as you do, but nowadays with global warming and everything, we haven't had snow like this for ages. But whenever it snows for the first time in a year, I run out in my pyjamas and dance around like a little kid, because how can you not?

This was gorgeous! The UK never gets anywhere near that much snow - so beautiful! Sorry about your migraine :( They absolutely suck, I just hate when you're lying in bed for forever waiting for the pain to go away so you can get on with your life again. Thanks for your peaceful and uplifting vlogs in spite of the headaches! 💛

I love snow ❤️ We got loads of it last week, and then this week it was -20 C most of the week and I honestly couldn’t get anything done because my desk is by the window and the trees outside were just so beautiful, all frosted white in the sunshine.

I recommend wearing sunglasses when going out into the overly bright white snow (even if the sun isn't shining). If I don't wear them I get really bad migraines too❄

Our Scottish snow is child's play compared to your Canadian whiteouts. Fascinating. Come the better days, why not take your books out into the city squares and parks, ask folks what they are reading? So little time, so many great poets, short story writers, novelists, science and wildlife writers, essayists, biographers and journalists.

Hope you get over your migraine!Nice video!In fact the whole ambience and elements like the snow plough feel like a visual cue to the novel I finished recently called Early Riser by Jasper Fforde. Ironically one of the characters is named Aurora.

Hope you're feeling better. Sometimes the snow reflects sunlight, tho it seemed to be overcast so prolly that wasn't it. My eyes are light but it was a long time - too long - before I understood that suggests sensitivity to light. Then again there's all the reading. Don't push yourself too hard, and most of all: Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy.
