I put two 12s in my car’s trunk. Never thought about turning the box around and lowering my backseat. Might go do that

It will be louder with your speakers facing the trunk and with the seat down but less vibration when you rotate your box around and you will lose a couple db

@@kiingtez-6451 Not necessarily. It is very vehicle dependent, all cars react differently. My Honda was loudest facing forward unsealed, with enclosure pushed all the way to the back of the trunk. And I tested several configurations. It was even louder that way than the famous forward firing "port turned to the driver's side" configuration.

Usually against the back seat facing up is better it will bounce off the glass sound cleaner and louder

Oh wow this is like exactly what I got. Mine is truly budget tho and is not hitting nearly as hard as his lmao. My sub, box, Amp, and wire to get it playing is all less than 500$. I have a prefab dual15 sealed enclosure that I covered one subwoofer cutout and installed a port on. It's actually surprising for what it is. Edit: since the last video I posted I have replaced the port with a slightly larger and twice as long one

Seal it forward and it’ll be louder with the trunk closed. Sound waves are canceling out.

I have a single 15” and a 3.5kW RMS amplifier. I have not a lot of experience… I don’t know at all what tuning frequency should I choose for my car. I want something between sound quality and SPL. I will appreciate an advice, thank you guys!

Shit I built me a box that’s 3 cubic ft for the first time the spec sheet said it was tuned to 33 but It was wrong I think it’s around 37 38 ish but it stills sounds great for my first time but be careful where you get your info now I learned that afterwards

@@robertsamaro9932 you can also test to see if you’re tuned to 33 by playing a 33hz tone at like 80 percent power and the sub should be barely moving and the port should be moving alot of air.

I need some help,,,, I have a question. I hooked up my deck to run my four door speakers and two tweeters and it keeps acting like it's losing its signal one minute it comes on all the lights are on everything's playing fine then the next the sound is gone but everything is still on only four speakers and 2 tweeters are hooked up to that deck, I rewired the speakers from the door to the deck all new wire I checked the remote the ground and the power and the illumination they're all fine I even changed the decks,, and it's still doing it. What can it be please,????

Possible yes but that’s more in the box and motor force as well as tuning of box.

I got a very similar build to what is in the video. And when I purchased my setup I actually got what you described, two lesser power 15s. Let me tell you the issue now lol.. I've been planning and replanting for about 9 months now trying to figure out how to get both subs facing into the cabin as well as the port too. I think I've got 8 different boxes hand drawn with measurements listed and then graphed on winisd rn and I can't for the life of me decide what is the best. Many times I've considered selling my two svr's for a larger single sub for ease of instal My most recent design is like the JL audio HO enclosure for their W series subs; mine however is not exactly a horn as the port doesn't gradually get larger

He must have a highoutputalternator or a big battery somewhere because I know them taramps are very power hungry I had a taramp hd3k and a interstate battery in my truck and the amp would clip like crazy radio shop said I needed a bigger alt or like a xs power 4600 battery but those batteries cost more than an alternator

He's running a Headway lithium bank. And actually, Taramps are very efficient, it takes power to make power. And some Taramps brands do not like high input voltage, hence the reason why you may have been clipping. That, and possibly improper gain settings. And one Interstate batt is not gonna cut it with 3k of power.

Yes, especially the Smart and Smart Bass series. Full power at 1 and 2 ohms, and .5 to 2ohms with the Smart Bass. My Smart 5k Bass literally destroyed my CAB 4500.
