what a fabulous book haul!!! 😍The artwork of "Troublemakers" is just stunning!!! And the sprayed edges of Silverblood Promises... 😍 I also bought 7 new books while visiting my hometown this weekend, so next week's vlog will be a haul video as well! 😇📚 Your edition of The Unmaking of June Farrow is so beautiful! I got the blueish nightsky paperback edition. Can't wait to discuss this book in the book club with you!

My June spread in my journal is cake themed as it's my Birthday month. I absolutely LOVE Dr Who! David Tenant is my fav Dr, I stopped watching when Jodie Whittaker took over, I just couldn't see her as the Dr. I hope you love it too!

Oh i just love your videos so much!! It was perfect this morning after a sleepless night (because technically a 2hours sleep is only a nap, right? 😭) You make me want to treat myself with pretty books, which is very rare for me, but i really think i might give it a go this time! My go to breakfast is very french, toasted baguette with margarine and jelly 😅 and on sundays, toasted brioche with chocolate spread!

This version of "Cloud Atlas" is BEAUTIFUL ❤ I loved this book and hope you'll enjoy it as much as i did. It was also made into a (as i think) good movie years ago 😊👍 Looks like you're having lots of delightful reading hours ahead of you! 😁

It really is 🤍 i kind of wanted to get a paperback because i feel like it's a book that would deserve some annotations but i guess i'll just reread it if i want to annotate it 😅 I'll definitely watch the movie afterwards ! haha i surely do 🙈🫶

My go to breakfast is oatmeal with nuts and fruit on top with a sprinkle of cinnamon. However about once a week I toast some sourdough and my guacamole toast with an egg on time. For once I love the US cover of Whisperwicks which is a rarity for me, I usually go for the UK covers. There will be a 3rd book in the Greenwild series not sure about anymore. I finally got first edition releases of the final individual Borrowers series books. I'm starting my reread of them in June.

Looooove oatmeal ! i tend to gravity towards that more in Fall and Winter 🤍 I'll go check the US cover ! Yeah the author signed for a trilogy but i feel it could easily be more so i hope ! Yayyyy those books really seem so cute !

omg for soooo long my breakfast was : coffee, followed by more coffee 🙈 but my hormones really weren't happy with that 🫠 i have never bought a book so fast in my life i swear 🙈 (well maybe the upcoming new evelyn hugo edition 👀) yessss you need a switch it's so fun 😍 thank you so much love 🥹🤍🤍

it's sooooo easy to make ! olive oil in a pan, you add the drained chickpeas, sliced tomatoes, bit of salt, spiced/herbs you want and let is cook until crisp. i mix it a bit to have every side crisp and voilà 🥰 (and i prefer grain bread)

Coucou Céline ! J'espère que tu vas bien :D Je voulais te demander : où est-ce que tu trouves le sirop à la vanille ? sur le site de Monin directement ou un vendeur tiers ? On n'a pas du tout les mêmes goûts en matière de livres, je crois (je préfère tout ce qui est mémoires, entre autres) mais alors les livres que tu achètes sont incroyablement beaux, c'est du bonbon pour mes ptits yeux

Coucouuu 🥰 Je les achète directement chez Monin mais ils les vendent aussi sur maxicoffee et il se peut que je les prenne chez eux dans le future ! Je lis vraiment de tout (sauf poésie moderne😅) mais c'est vrai que je montre surtout les fictions 🙈 C'est une catastrophe pour mon compte en banque honnêtement mais j'arrive pas à résister dès que je vois une belle couverture 🫠😂 Les maisons françaises se sont enfin mises à jour et maintenant proposent des belles éditions aussi (il était temps !) De gros bisous du Sud de la France 😘

Coucou 🥰 Merci pour tes gentils mots, ça me rassure parce que filmer ces derniers temps fût compliqué et j'étais pas sûre que le contenu vale la peine d'être édité et posté 🫠 Mais nooooon il faut se lancer 🥹 Mon bujo n'était pas du tout comme ça quand j'ai commencé et puis je suis jamais réellement contente du résultat final mais plus on s'entraine mieux on y arrive 🫶 Très bonne question ! Pour plusieurs raisons je suppose ... il y a plus de choix en anglais (plus d'auteurs anglophones) et il ne me semble pas être déjà tombée sur une Robin Hobb ou un Tolkien français 😅 parce que je suis bilingue et que si le livre est de base en anglais je préfère avoir l'original pour juger de la qualité de l'écriture. Parce que je trouve l'écriture française cringe, dans le sens où on parle pas vraiment comme ça dans la vraie vie et ça sonne faux à mes oreilles ... C'est d'ailleurs pareil pour les films, je trouve que les doublages (français) sont affreux et du coup enlèvent toutes les emotions et tout le talent des acteurs. Ohhhh tu es d'où dans le sud ? J'suis dans le sud aussi 😁Des gros bisous du sud aussi du coup🤍

@@stuffcelinedoes je fais des essais de temps en temps, je me suis achetée quelques autocollants et des jolies surligneurs 😊 maintenant il faut que j'arrive à être régulière et ça c'est une autre paire de manches. Effectivement ta réflexion sur les livres en VO est un très bon parallèle avec les films. Impossible pour moi de regarder une série ou un film en doublé FR. (Et pour les animés je ne t'en parle même pas 🤣 la VF est un sacrilège) Pour les livres, mon niveau d'anglais n'est pas assez bon je pense, mais pourquoi pas tenter avec un livre "simple" Je suis de Marseille 😊 et toi ? Bonne soirée 😊

Je le suis pas du tout, genre j'ai rien fait du tout pour le mois de Mai, je suis directement passée d'Avril à l'été/Juin 😅 Mais ouais sérieux est-ce qu'on peut parler deux minutes des doublages ? J'ai entendu une fois la voix française de Serena (Gossip Girl) et mon dieu 🙈 pareil pour les voix françaises dans The Big Bang Theory c'est une horreur 😂 Je recommande tout le temps de commencer avec une relecture d'un livre que tu aimes et si possible du middle grade ou YA, quelque chose de simple et fun 🫶 Ahhh juste à 1h de toi, Draguignan 😃
