Thank you so much!! I think the chord progressions as the basis are more important. The melody then comes from that :)

@@chenian001 That's cool that you've developed a sort of order of operations for your music making means, but how do you find chords that work? Is it mostly trial and error until something just feels like it snaps into place?

@@SnadMusic It often is trial and error, but there are chord progressions which I use more frequently, so there I often go back to those chords :)
