CoJo should make an album purely of covers. They’ll sell as fast as his shows! Anyone else agree?

The first song of Cody’s I heard on the radio was ‘Ride With Me’ and once I found out who was singing this song I started searching KZfaq for more!! I wasn’t prepared for the onslaught of amazing music accompanied by intelligent inspiring writing!! Way, WAY above par!! But better than that is this inevitably slow burning rise to the top of his profession!!! The kind that will keep him around for many a year!! I told my wife ten years ago when I played her the Grandpa song, yes it made me cry thinking about my father in law, this guy is what country music is going to be about!! Some of the best song writing since Travis Tritt!!

I lost my grandpa on 7 12 21 at 6 05 pm 5 hours after I told him I loved him and I'd do anything just to see him smile and hear his voice and listen to another one of his service stories or sneak upstairs with a thermos of coffee and talk about science or the stock market those were the best memories ever and I miss his weekly FaceTime calls so much

Hey you get to be gramps! I know my gramps meant the world to me, taught me to enjoy the outdoors, to fish, to treat people with respect. And just genuinely showed me what a man is supposed to do and how he's supposed to carry himself. Sorry for your loss but you get to the chance to make an immeasurable impact on your grandchildren. Good luck my friend 💙

I went to see Jon Pardi, last summer at the Erie County Fair, in NY. He is the exact opposite of Cody. Cody is a very humble man. Pardi believes his fans owe him something. Cody Johnson, you are my new favorite county star!!! Morals matter to me!! Sorry to hear about your Grandpa ❤️😘!!
@alaskanfidelis Жыл бұрын
Agreed 100%, I saw Pardi in Palmer Alaska when he had his concert there, Cody is definitely a more down to earth man.

He's so blessed. He deserves it tho. I been an aspiring musician my whole life, my real father , ho got an independent record deal his self, bought me my first guitar at 8 years old. And immediately started my journey. Unfortunately I was diagnosed with ALS a few years ago. I can't hit the right noted anymore, or even barely hold the guitar. My dream is over. Now I struggle every day to come up with something to eat. My county andy state has let me down terribly. But , sometimes I think, I was already recording at 17-18 yrs old. Most don't make it, but who knows, maybe I could have had a shot. But I didn't have to make it big time, I just enjoyed the music more than anything. Who knows.

Music has a way of healing the soul. I’m sorry to hear you can’t play anymore but I hope you still enjoy music. There are times that music has brought me through so much in my life. I have been a nurse for many years and have even been caught singing to my patients lol. ALS is a monster and I will definitely keep you in my prayers. Thank you for sharing your story. I would love to hear you and your dads music.
