I live on a very famous street in New Orleans, you can probably take a wild guess which one it is even if you've never been here before. Anyway we live in the residential area, but while it remains mostly residential there are still bars and restaurants in walking distance no matter which direction you go. Anyway, long story short Zach Galifianakis was in town shooting that movie The Campaign with Will Ferrell and Zach was wandering around the area bar-hopping basically, he stumbles across my neighbor who lives across the street as her door is wide open as is just the way she does things. He stops by and they chat for a bit and finally after a half hour or so he asks for a recommendation for a good bar to go get some drinks and maybe food at, she answers and then he begins meandering away. This entire time my neighbor had no idea who he was. But as he was walking away her daughter is like "Don't you know who that is?" and she says "No?" and her daughter says "That's the comedian Zach Galifianakis, he's pretty famous..." so as he's walking away my neighbor goes back outside and shouts "ZACH! Zach, come here for a second" and he does and then she asks him "Are you famous?" and he says "Well, I thought I was".

A merkin is a pubic wig. Merkins were originally worn by prostitutes after shaving their mons pubis, and are now used as decorative items, erotic devices, or in films, by both men and women.

Kombinatsiya does a person have to be in funny movies and shows to be considered a funny person? I mean there’s so many stand up comedians who are hillarious but havent got any movies or shows. Its mostly upto the writers and if they cast which decides which and how funny of a movie a guy is in really is. You can literally just makes jokes to one person in the world and still be the funniest person to that one guy.

I saw a clip of him doing stand-up that tickled me. He came on the stage and said to the audience something like "Hello, ladies and gentlemen, my name is Zach Galifianakis". He then paused and said " I think that's how you say it".

I love Zach's sense of fun. By the way, when my daughter lived in S. Carolina, she had me ship her several bottles of Maul's (St. Louis Style) BBQ sauce. She couldn't figure out the love for the mustard-vinegar stuff. AND, she went to a butcher's to order pork steaks for the 4th of July - the clerks looked at her as if she just started flying thru the store! We from the midwest love our tomato-based sauce and those pork steaks!
