I had an A7rii for a while, now have an A7rV... Fantastic camera... Thanks to those people!

It's interesting but with no narration of anything it's really not that interesting. Just a bunch of people doing their jobs. It'd be nice if someone was saying "This station is doing this and these people are working on this".
@timeless_realm4 жыл бұрын
There is a sign above each station the says what is for.

Soney should open a shop in Sydney's pit mall and give good advice and support to the product they sell and have the same quality meet and great you get in Japan

it looks more like what i imagine a minolta 90s production line
@mel8163 жыл бұрын
It probably is: I would guess that Minolta already had a production line in Thailand when Sony bought their camera business back in 2006 and kept it running.

Workers in Thailand are highly skilled workers. This is different from other ASEAN countries that still have low-skilled labor.

thought that people are getting it wrong fuji process : kzfaq.info/get/bejne/btGph9yJpsmRo58.html in fuji's video, lens does process with the high standard clean room but where the cameras made looks like completely different section also, they even didn't wearing a hat though that sony does and they were standing too
@ronaldlee35376 ай бұрын
Interesting. I thought they would be in a dust-free clean room, but I guess at this point everything is in modules, and just need to be assembled into a completed camera.

Why workers do not have a seat and just standing for the whole day? Is this human?
@leroyjones7696 жыл бұрын
ACW Choi ... I agree or at the very least give them pads to stand on
@danielcm55326 жыл бұрын
It's more human than being sat down for hours, in fact it is healthier despite of the fatigue. More and more businesses tend to make stand desks for their workers, this not only enhances attention at task but quality of processes.
@hectorrivera27856 жыл бұрын
Isn´t healtier, actually, they tend to have vascular problems, specially with their legs. That´s a sad fact.

Lovely , now just charge cameras half the price of a Japanese made (like Canon and Fuji X) , otherwise I don't see any advantage but for Sony and their slave labour scheme .
@Anarki2U3 жыл бұрын
So that is why I love my Sony cameras like it was a girl, Sony cameras are made by women :)
@andrewtongue70847 ай бұрын
Hmm, if you compare this to the Sigma production line (for lenses) video, the difference is clear - too many production line workers' backs in evidence, vis-a-vis actual detailed assembly - this, in retrospect, gives nothing for the potential purchaser to relate to - it's all too cagey. Not a good PR presentation in my view. If you're going to be transparent, then be transparent.
@shuttergardis68525 жыл бұрын
Those jerks who didn't know how to take care of their cameras.. SEE this people how hard they are working just to build your camera... It's not easy..

It looks like a old warehouse. those ceiling tiles are falling into disrepair... look at the beginning! this isn't a clean environment and the workers are standing all day which leads to fatigue. seems like a very rushed operation with not enough time dedicated to quality checks, cheapest dirtiest camera factory video out there, no wonder Sony are a wealthy company. expensive cameras made in this place.
@ele48536 ай бұрын
All it's been shown is bunch of people and not the process at all! LOL what a waste of time! LOL
@KILROY5ful6 ай бұрын
Very bad video. You mostly see the backs of the employees. Watch Sigma's two videos on lens and camera manufacturing. This is what a video should look like.
