Thank you for reviewing our upcoming Mars 03! The cap on the joystick can be removed and this is by design. This is the pre-production model in the video and we will upgrade the joystick in the pre-order production. It's such an outlandish design, yet I absolutely love it since I'm a nerd for astronomy. I might have to pull the trigger on this one.
