I spent sometime in sick kids 24 years ago for a tumor on my spine. I was the first case they had seen and had two surgeons fighting over it. Dr. Humphreys won and took away that horrible pain I was in for 1.5 years. The nurses and my doctor were so loving and caring that when I would go back years later to visit they always remembered me 😊. That hospital is amazing. I have great memories of being there. I met other kids my age and our mothers bonded because they had all been sleeping over in the hospital. I remember becoming friends with a girl would suffered an aneurism and how she couldn't speak but we held hands and bonded over music videos on the tv in her room.I remember seeing a baby with staples from ear to ear. I saw some pretty amazing things on the neurosurgery floor. Even now traveling into Toronto from my city I still see the painted rainbow and the tooth statue on the side of the 401 that always reminded me of my trips to sick kids 😊

I listen to Dr Jiddu Krishnamurti on KZfaq. If you want to learn about life listen to him. Now this child is a reminder to all out there , quit whining, quit being mean, quit being a bully, finally quit being insane if you can help it. This child is teaching you about life, it is once again teaching what Jiddu Krishnamurti taught me. That is to live life with the selfish center exists no more. Jiddu Krishnamurti teaches me more about life than anybody. This child teaches us lot about being grateful. Show some compassion.

I had my first two surgeries at this hospital after I was born which was almost 33 years ago. My last surgery at The Hospital for Sick Children was 18 years ago. I have had five surgeries at this hospital. Thank you to all the doctors and nurses that helped me during my stays at the hospital.

I go to SickKids hospital every month it is a truly great hospital, they really do care about the patients and enjoy there jobs

i spent 15 days at that hospital when i was 3 i got a kidney failure thank you all nurses! God Bless You All.

Sick kids is the best for a reason! If i lived closer I would nurse there. I would do the burn unit as I am a burn nurse! God bless

I miss going there. I'm an adult now. I miss seeing nurses, people at Marnie's noticing me like "Hey brier welcome back" because I've going there every 2 months for past 4-5 years now and sometimes I get admit in the hospital. That hospital saved my life. I was diagnosed with scleroderma or also known as systemic sclerosis. Thank you Sick Kid's for doing that, taking care of me. One day I'll go back there and see what's different. Haven't been there for 2 years now (I think)

Ive been a patient in the hospital for sick kids for over 8 years. In Jan 2014 i got diagnosed with mpgn type 1 in nephrotic syndrome. Ive gotten so much help from sick kids and i know it is my second home. Ive met ith so many great people there and still go there for routine testing and treatement. My disease has no cause no cure but still i have gotten such great treatement from sick kids. I also love sick kids

I went to sick kids last week because I had pendix in my right side of my tummy I stayed at sick kids for I week and a half with my mom . Sick kids helped me get better I miss sick kids a lot and I always will I love sick kids . Sick kids is the best and it always will be the best

I spent ten days in the Hospital For Sick Children twice recovering from my Smile Surgery. It is a really nice hospital! :D

I spent a couple months in sick kids because my bowel was twisted and I had an e.n.g tube it is horrible of having that in you but sick kids is amazing it helped me so much
