I have/had that exact same edition of Silence of the Lambs. The Tribe sounds like something I would want check out. I absolutely love your Zero tree topper and your eclectic assortment of holiday décor. The Rotting Within sounds like an interesting premise. I might check it out down the road. I have had a copy of The descent for years. It has one of my favorite book covers to look at. But I have still not read a single page of it. In fact when you pulled it off the bookshelf it reminded me I still own it. Maybe I will go ahead and read that while I'm off from work next week.

I love your energy! I need more friends like you. ☺ Bentley Little was the first Horror Author I ever read. However, mine was The House. Pretty weird stuff. I can test to the strange sex stuff at times. Beware of that if you read Dominion,The House, The Revalation...just anything he writes actually.

The Descent is one of my favorites (and predates the unrelated movie of the same name by four years). It’s not perfect but the underground setting is something that sticks with me. Sequel “Deeper” is good too.

Never have your bed face the door because that's how they remove the dead from the room. Also the spirits will pull you out through the door.

My cat and I had an experience with the bed/mirror thing. We were drifting off to sleep and the electricity flickered for a second and we were both just staring at the mirror when the lights came on again. I yeeted that thing out of my room so fast 😅
