After the tense back-and-forth with Nelson Syphus, the team retrieves the "gift" that said Stalker left behind for them, curious about its importance to the investigation at hand. While the item itself prompts some confusion, the team doesn't skip a beat and head into full investigation mode to see what exactly Syphus is looking for them to find. However, once they do put the pieces together, they make a rather morbid discovery, one that changes the tone of this find rather dramatically, but also prompts some deeper questions as well...

It's time to meet up with ol' reliable once again and see if there are any secrets inside that the Stalker wanted them to find.

Seems as if the key to the Mountaineer actually works, but that seems to open up more questions for the team about the Stalker's intentions.
13:22 - Retrace Our Conversation -
The team heads back to the Vault in order to check the messages that they received from Nelson the previous day to try and gain some clarity on what he wants them to do.
15:45 - Preparations For Searching -
The team gathers some "materials" that they need in order to look through the car for what Nelson wants them to find.
19:14 - Where Is The Tape? -
After moving the Mountaineer outside in order to search through it properly, the team is not on the hunt for the tape that they're supposed to find. However, considering they've searched through so much of that car already, it begs the question of where something might be hiding.
21:50 - Mission Accomplished -
After tearing the car apart, they find what they're looking for...
27:13 - Off To Woods' House! -
After resolving to play the tape in a more controlled environment, the team head to the formerly mentioned team member's house, hoping to get something that will allow them to listen to whatever is on that tape...
29:26 - We've Arrived -
Once arriving at Woods' house, they locate the tape recorder. Plus, Woods opens a Valentine's Day gift!
33:00 - Time To Listen -
They play the tape, and make some rather morbid discoveries once listening...
38:30 - That's It? -
In the midst of static leaving empty space on the tape, the team has to come to terms with what they just listened to.

Theory: the person that said “i wanna go home” sounded like a kid. what if it’s Syphus’ Son. Maybe he was named after his dad. because people do that. And he could’ve had something wrong with him so his dad was doing experiments on others to try and get a cure for his kid. And they could’ve finally found it and where using it on the kid. But then there’s the scream that sounded like an adults. So maybe Syphus and his “son” were both using it. but as we saw from the videos and the knowledge we have syphus (who made syntec) would be quite old. So now as in 2021, his son is using the life’s blood to stay alive from whatever may be hurting him. so basically syphus’ son is the one doing this.

yeah, thats one point i also made. i could clearly hear multiple screams in the recording. someone had a theory that Nelson's child 'could’ve had something wrong with him so his dad was doing experiments on others to try and get a cure for his kid.'(-•Just Lulz•). if they were doin experiments on ppl to find a cure, they never developed the cure to be harmless/safe to people. thats why this person who injected himself screamed in pain.= literally have no idea if this makes sense but this is honestly how my brain works no cap

they still do when you have a concoction to release the pressure so it (the blood) can cloth back up. And that is also why we probably heard high pitched noise because it will make that noise because all the pressure it getting released.

Theory: You guys remember when it talked about electrocution therapy, in the tape it sounds like someone is getting electrocuted that would explain the heart monitor. Whenever they electrocute someone they always had a hear monitor to make sure they don't reach critical levels. Maybe it was an experiment gone wrong so they electrocuted them.

What I heard instead of just “I wanna go home” was “if you can hear me I wanna go home” as if they knew they were being recorded or were alone in a room. Why would they say “ if you can hear me” if they were with other people unless they knew they were being recorded

I second this, I had heard that as well and was thinking about why someone would say that. This is just my guess, but whoever did say "if you can hear me, I wanna go home". maybe they knew something was up and going wrong. Whereas they hid a voice recorder so that this could be shown to someone, later on, to stop whatever Syphus or someone is planning.

And than Mat goes on to say at the end of the tape that Nelson had said something about the truth being the truth, which he did. But what I'm thinking is that maybe, Nelson was chosen just like how sam woods and mat were; when he was younger.

I love how the "investigators" of this video has evolved over time first it was Paul then Paul, Connor, and Tanner for two or three vids next it was Connor, Tanner, and Sam doing camera after that it was Pat, Tanner, Woods, Sierra, Hannah, Sam, and Cj doing camera next it went to Pat, Woods, Sam, and Hannah with Cj doing Camera then it was Woods, Sam and Hannah with Cj doing camera then Woods and Hannah with CJ doing camera then Woods, and Sam with Cj doing camera Now it is just Sam and Woods And Matthias has been along for the whole ride

I think that the person screaming on the tapes was syphus and when they said “nelson syphus” on the intercomb it was basically stating he was the next person to be expirimented on and that's why he needs those syrums to survive because of all the experiments they did on him and maybe him on himself he's uses the syrums as follow up antedoctes.

This seems very correct I believe it was his son and this recording is from the 90s. or its a test subject and if syphus is a co owner then they would call him if something went wrong from his test. but the saws are up to your imagination

THEORY: Nelson Syphus would be too old to be the one breaking in, messaging, etc. when you think of when he would have started SYNTEC Labs, to now. The timeline just doesn't add up. I think its his son/daughter that gets tested and is the first one that passes the experiment, and because of that, they have multiple personality disorder. This makes sense because when you look at the text messages, there are severe signs of multiple personality disorder, this adds up because of the test subjects that get it after the experiments (it says it on the files of the test subjects.) 863 was Nelson's son/daughter test number, and because they were the first to be successful when testing, they now need it to 'survive'. Thats why 863 is so important to Syphus. If they were testing Nelson's child when they young, that explains the toy in the car. This is just a theory and it makes sense to me.

Theory: First It said "212 Nelson Syphus" and the beeping is a heart beating thing they use on hospitals after that a girl/boy voice says "do you hear me I wanna go home" that could tell that it could be one of Nelson's pacients if you look all the documents about the pacients that were dead. And you can tell that the first sound was a saw and the second was a drill, because the girl/boy was screaming and out of no where the beeping stops that would mean that the pacient probably died. About the beeping when it did go faster you could look in your mind and remember if you are scared your heart would also beat faster and faster. @Matthias please check the files of all pacients and find out who they did that to because It sounds like a girl!

Theory: What if the person you heard say “I wanna go home” is Nelson’s “son” that Nelson wanted to test him on thus why it sounded so young. The beeping was his heart monitor. And maybe they (or Nelson) injected or implanted something into his “son” that’s why he screams. Nelson could’ve been 20-30 at the time and now he’s older and his “son” could have been 8-13 and that’s whose breaking in. And that’s why he needs the life’s blood because the life’s blood is what let’s him survive. And Nelson’s “son” took over the business after his dad got too old. Maybe Nelson’s “son” is project 863.

The image I got in my head while listening to the tape was; They could’ve been brainwashing/controlling the guy screaming and then injected the guy with life’s blood. I mean syphus injected himself and he screamed. It could’ve been the one of testings of life’s blood to see how it works on the human body.

Heres my theory: This was an experiment home wrong and the beeping is a heart monitor. Remember when they were on the Apple 2 and it said one of the patients had died. This could of been the time it happened.

So if Matt sees this I had a thought You take out the chip from the car ignition and text him tell him to come get the car after hours say no one will be there so when he goes to start it from his key because he probably has a key I would assume you could potentially trap/catch him and tell him so you could pull a stakeout part 2.
