@Bayou Baby3, your name implies that you are from the USA, so I as another African American I want to say this: Given the peculiar history of the USA and the still current realities of institutional racism and the potential for experiencing personal racism in the nation, I personally still categorize people who have some Black African ancestry who are mixed with another or other race/s or ethnicity/ethnicities as Black. However, I recognize that some people who are Black Americans -meaning "United Staters" who have some Black African ancestry may not agree with the way I define who is Black. Also, I strongly believe that we (African Americans) shouldn't try to impose the way we categorize people with some African descent on the rest of the world. "Black" (racial referent) doesn't mean the same thing everywhere. Brazilians (and people from South Africa) and elsewhere can speak for themselves regarding this and other topics. Furthermore, people who have no Black African ancestry can and do still appreciate music that is composed and performed (or just composed; or just performed) by Black people. So I consider your comment to be a fail for that reason as well as the reason/s I gave earlier. Sorry. Not sorry. Also, Big Up to the A-Star and others associated with this video.
