It has, but the "emo is dead" conspiracy was created by the lavazza to sell spiked collars. Check out Norma Jeans new shit. Lots of emo posers went full hipster. Norma Jean didn't, they just sing now. Also check out "dreambound" a newerish label. There's more emo than there ever was.

I remember watching these guys in Washington D.C. back in 2004-ish with my chemical romance and senses fail and lead singer broke his wrist during the set and he just kept on going! I'll always remember that night, i was like 18-19
