Thanks Julie, you always cover the places you try so well for us- really get an idea of what it’s like to go there and you always make the most. I’ve never thought of going to a Haven holiday park but I would now 🙂 Also just to say your are doing a great job with Atticus, not that you need anyone to tell you that, we are all just making it up as we go along, but it’s really good to see how you keep everything going as well as being a very dedicated Mum 🧡 I know a lot of other 8 year olds would be a lot more trouble too, he seems to benefit a lot from the experiences you give him to learn 🙂 Another great video! I left for Dubai on May 25th for a long awaited two week holiday booked in 2019, I had hoped the weather may have improved in that time I am away, seeing you in big coats at the end of May shows little hope to that happening, I hear it's going to be unsettled again next week - you'd hope being the end of May when you filmed and being by the coast it would have been better weather, I appreciate a holiday is what you make it, but if we don't get that good weather soon we'll be past the longest day with absolutely no hope, I hope it improved for days 3 and 4 as It sure did look chilly there. xox

@@beverlyjeannenewman4364 Is that you Jules coming for another go? Any way I have emailed Haven with a screenshot of the reply I got & also my question. So I just asked an innocent question to someone who’s been there recently. Sure won’t be bothering with this channel again never seen such horrible behaviour from both sides.

I only suggested those 2 options because my dad is on a walker and he also uses a wheelchair. I was not trying to hurt anyone feeling or trying to be rude I know how that feels. I also left a message and got a rude response from someone but they are not going to stop me from watching or giving my opinion. If someone doesn't have someone they care about that needs special care they can be really horrible. Again I didn't mean to hurt anyone feeling. Please don't let the haters win.

Have you ever considered getting Atticus assessed for ASD? If you watch him in the back of the car, those hand movements are stimming... its how people with ADS self sooth. This is not hate of criticism, its an observation from someone with two kids with ASD. There are many other things he does that suggests he may be neurodivergent. I know you were pretty upset at this being questioned before but it's honestly so helpful to either rule it out or get it diagnosed and get him the support and understanding he deserves

I’m sure what you’re saying is coming from a good place, but it’s honestly not fair for strangers on the internet (however well-meaning) to be labelling diagnoses on someone else’s child when you don’t know them personally and you also don’t know what they know about their child already.

@@katiescarlett2694 I disagree. Its about awareness. It's not a criticism. It's also not something to be ashamed of. All ASD is is the brain firing in a different way So processing is different. If you perceive it as some kind of insult it might help your understanding to read about work ASD is. Stimming is one of the most outward signs of ASD, which is why I pointed it out. It one of the component behaviours that Dr's look for when diagnosing. Also the restricted diet, monotone speech, meltdowns, inability to read social queues, lack of eye contact... there are many more but these are present with Atticus and he displays them in every vlogs he's on.

Yeah I can understand that, but I’m just highlighting that we see such a small amount of their lives so I wouldn’t have said anything, plus it’s quite a personal matter and I think Julie is very switched on and if she felt that If he was being affected she would look into it. He might be diagnosed with something and they have chosen not to tell us which would be fair enough because it doesn’t need mentioning it would be Julie and atticus’s choice too tell us and he felt he didn’t want to be seen or treated differently then that’s fair enough, I believe we don’t need to know everything.

Hi Julie. I don’t mean to be rude but why did you get gifted this holiday? It seems a bit unfair to the rest of us who work to pay for our once a year get away holidays. Don’t get me wrong, you earn a good income, so why didn’t you say you’d pay for this instead of receiving for free? I’m sure another family would have really appreciated a free break. It’s hard times for people right now and it seems very unrealistic for all of these “influencers” to be getting free crap all of the time. I’m sure if I wanted this holiday break for my two children I’d have paid a pretty penny. This is not a hateful message, I’m just interested in what enables you to be gifted a free break.
@JessK4y2 жыл бұрын
I'd love a free holiday too, I'm sure the majority of us would but it's just one of the ways of how Haven advertise their holidays. They use influencers who have so many followers to promote their brand. I for example I don't watch TV with adverts, so I would never see a Haven advert unless I saw it on social media. Haven, Butlins, Park Dean, Away Resorts etc often do competitions where you can win a free break, which is also good promotion for them too. It's just how advertising works x

I don't see anything wrong with Atticus. He sounds like a normal opinionated child. He loves helping his Mom with facts.

Atticus probably has migraines, if he feels sick with his headaches

Delete the negative and dam right ignorant comments Julie. I hate to see them here. People need to get some sort of life and come out of other people's....how dare fully grown adults discuss someone else's child 😂.

People STOP commenting on Atticus. I am quite certain that his mother has his best interests in mind. It is NONE of our business. Julie is a fantastic mother and looks after him very well. We don’t know about their lives except for what Julie wishes to share. If she doesn’t comment on it, neither should we. Atticus is an intelligent young man and capable of reading comments. He is 8, keep out of his personal business. I hate this about social media. Invisible people think they can make personal comments to strangers because they post on social media.

Thank you! Absolutely right. People have the right to keep personal things like diagnoses entirely private. Busybodies in the comments speculating on an 8 year olds possible condition is appalling. It’s not helpful and it’s very disrespectful.

If she doesn't want people to comment on him then she shouldn't include him in videos! Using your child as part of your content is wrong anyways making money of your child that isn't old enough to consent.

Why have they called an elephant "Anxious" 😡 What a way to walk all over people with genuine anxiety. Its like calling someone depression...

Sorry but these are excruciating to watch. Pick up the pace a bit. You don’t need to explain every little thing it makes the vlog boring. Pick up the pace a little.
