Chèvre, at least in Acadian French, would be either "Chev- ff" or "Chev-eu" or "chev-rrrreu" (rolled R)

as a French person watching A LOT of english content of animal crossing, I am so so happy that someone can finally say Chevre properly :D it actually means "goat" in the very first meaning of the word, but it is also used to refer to goat cheese indeed :) anyway loved the hunting while I was hunting myself ! :))

Chevre just means "goat" in French. It is used as the name of goat cheese from France. I love Apple, she's so adorable! I've never had her, and I already have two peppy villagers but maybe some day

She was the 3rd villager to move to my island (And literally the 1st villager I came across on another island when I went villagers hunting for the three houses) and she's a ray of sunshine ! 🙂 Judy was one of the first villagers who came to my campsite. I like her but if I could only keep one between the two, it'd be Apple !

Actual Story: the first time I went villager hunting I got Julia on the very first ticket and I was SO tempted to take her but I waited and got Zucker instead. I haven’t seen Julia since and it haunts me 🤣

I literally just found Whitney 3 days ago, I had wanted her as I thought she was beautiful. So far she has been very friendly with all my other villagers! Apparently I pick kind villagers! They all wave to each other all the time. :)

I love Apple. I had her in New Leaf! I'm hoping I find her and add her to my island. She will be the last of my 4 Dreamies to arrive! I've had 2 dreamies turn up on mystery tours super early on in hunts. Lolly was in 17 tickets and Zucker was in 5. Aurora, the most recent addition to my personal dreamy collection, I got from someone just a few days ago. I picked up Aurora after I had spent over 30 tickets hunting and was beginning to feel a bit burnt out. I had 4 target villager and none of them showed up. My target Villagers were Apple, Aurora, Shep and Tex. After 20 tickets, I expanded the search with 4 more villagers. I would've taken Apple, Aurora, Shep, Tex, Keaton, Marshal, O'Hare or Raymond. I found none of them. And then I saw that someone had Aurora moving out and jumped at the chance to have a dreamy on my island. Next hunt I will look for one of the remaining 7 villagers. I really would prefer Shep or Tex as my Smug villager though. O'Hare is a close third though, so I guess I might take him too. Of course, I'd prefer Apple over all of them.

Marina finally wanted to leave (I loved Marina, and yeah she was a dreamie, but she wasn’t my favorite) so I let her go. A couple days later I went to go hunting for Cookie, my favorite, and 12 NMT in I found Raymond 👀

Yesterday there was a camper in my campsite and I was expecting someone chill like Tipper or whatever, but it was Merengue and I literally screamed 🍰🍓
