You will find it when you least expect it. I got called for jury duty 30 years ago. I got picked and tried everything to get out of it because it was an hour drive and I was unemployed at the time. Anyway, they would not let me out of it and even paid me in advance. Well, I met my husband (he was suing his former employer). After the case was done, he asked his attorney if he could ask me out. We have been married for 28 years! Who would of thought 😂

If you don't love your self, you can't expect anyone else to love you. Dating apps have limited success and are a numbers game. If you haven't got the time to go on numerous dates then they see hard work. You will meet someone, someone will walk round the corner and you will instantly hit it off. And as many people have said, don't settle, you deserve so much better.

That's how I interpreted your title (with this particular self-portrait). I don't know you or anything about you, but just know that if you have *healthy* self-love...and not pathological self-love, self-absorption, and lack empathy for others...you CAN find a healthy relationship with another healthy person, but you DO have to put the time in when you are home. Traveling 15+ days of the months was my life for 15 years throughout my 20s to mid-30s, and I had good relationships with good people, both romantic and friendship/acquaintanceship-wise. I outgrew many of those relationships over time, but the ones that have lasted are those I created before/around the age of 25. In your lifetime, there is no more length, in-depth, important relationship than the one you have with yourself. YOU are the one person you will be able to count on throughout your entire life...and regardless of what anyone tells you, and *many* will tell you otherwise...YOU are the only person who is with you from cradle to grave: you and you alone. Grandparents, parents, aunts/uncles, cousins, siblings, pets, friends, and most definitely colleagues and peers, will come-and-go. Make sure you take care of yourself, treat yourself with respect, kindness, and compassion, and be your own best friend...your own loving/nurturing/protective parent...your own financial planner (and allow true experts in their fields to help you make excellent choices)...and your own work-out and career coach. Please do NOT misinterpret this as a suggestion to become self-absorbed because it is the anti-thesis of this. What it is is encouragement to make yourself the best version of yourself you can be, and cultivate healthy, strong, *reciprocal* relationships with others along the way. Few will tell you about all the toxic people who are *covertly* floating through this world, looking to take down a strong, confident, beautiful woman. Both male and female versions of these same-species predators are out there, and while they look just like the rest of us, they quietly and covertly THRIVE on destroying beautiful, confident, positive, and empathic people just like yourself. So value empathy... ...value the content of people's character (not how they "look" but if their words, values, and actions are congruent... ...and be mindful that these individuals do NOT show you who they truly are until they're ready to do so... ...and heed those gut-instincts you might have about others...even if you believe you know them well...the gut instincts, no matter how confusing...are almost always SPOT ON, even if you don't understand why at the time.

You’ll find love when you least expect it. Photography meetups, hobby that requires socializing (dance classes), church, book club, etc. The best dating apps are the paying ones because people who are serious are willing to pay and filter out the players.

Really loved that scene. Saw something similar on my way in to work this morning just north of Millarville. Some beautiful fog in a valley off Hwy 22. Just gorgeous. I love fog and I never get a chance to capture it! One day! I really like that you included some of your other dresses in the end photos this time. I enjoyed those posts about them, so to see them in the video was a nice touch. I agree with the fact you have to love yourself. It's so important to learn how to do that. I've got a friend that has been struggling lately and I find, from what I've seen, it's a complete lack of self love. Makes it hard to love anything else if you can't love yourself first!

I'm so fortunate that I never had to dip my toes in the dating game social media and apps, etc because I met my husband the old fashioned way...in a nightclub on my 16th birthday! He saw me dancing and, according to his friends, "went all hot and cold". We've been together ever since! This December it will be 32 years together! I know we're super lucky to have found each other. But you're right, the most important thing is to love yourself first. I'm confident that your soul mate isn't far away. Over the course of my life I've noticed that most people have such a strong desire to be in a relationship with someone that they often "settle". Sometimes that's good enough for them. But, I don't see that for you. You are a special person. And you deserve an equally special person to share your life.

Take it from a person way older than you are, don't force it. Often when you work too hard what you find are all the wrong people. When you least expect it, the right person will come along. Like your videos.

One thing I notice about you is you’re very intense, kind of over the top kid of personality. Type A women tend to show greater autonomic arousal to laboratory stressors as well as greater time urgency and speed, more goal directedness, a preference to work alone under stress conditions, and more competitiveness/aggressiveness than Type B women.

I think social media and the current iteration of dating apps have the issue of limiting attention spans and the infinite scroll. People on Instagram, for instance, don't really take a lot of time to absorb the photography they might see. It's just a quick blip, tap to like and keep scrolling. There's always something new to briefly not absorb. Dating apps have that lure of a quick glance, quick judgement, and assume there's an infinite number of profiles to see. This is all to say that dating in this decade is a wee bit frustrating. But I agree with your point. My "therapy" is to look at the map, plot a 2-3 day road trip and go explore. That's what keeps me sane.

Better late than never!!! Finally, back home from an epic photo trip. The northshore of Lake Superior never disappoints!! Being an old vet at marriage, the idea of dating in today's world is not a thought process I want to have. God forbid, anything happens to my wife, I can't imagine entering that world. My only advice is just be. As in. don't think about it and just be true and authentic to your values and life. That person that you will meet at some point will just present themselves and you will know it when it happens. The last thing anyone shouldn't do is force it. Love has its own time frame. Where do you find the long dresses

I was single for 5 years due to a complicated work/ home life traveling a lot and failing at online dating. Then I met someone last year (not using dating apps) and fingers crossed we're doing OK.... In fact we're taking a holiday together from the UK to the Canadian rockies in just a couple of weeks for a campervan trip from Calgary to jasper to quesnel and down to vancouver...!!!! Worried about the wildfires a little but really just hoping to experience the rockies... any recommendations for places to stop on the way round more than welcome lol... I met my spouse at the dentist office. Who would have thought. I definitely wasnt looking to meet anyone, let alone at the dentist ha ha. You never know when that person, that you are meant t to be with, is going to cross your path.
