The Count of Monte Cristo (pony version) is about Rainbow Dash's (Edmund Dante's) best friends betraying her and locking her up for a crime that she didn't commit. In this song, the three 'friends' are scheming behind Rainbow's back because each of them wants something that Rainbow has. Twilight (Mondego) wants her marefriend Fluttershy (Mercedes), Applejack (Danglars) wants her job, and Rarity (Vilefort) is trying to protect her image and her job by keeping the truth covered up, the truth that Rainbow Dash knows.

The Marshal Mostly, the musical premiered outside of the USA. It's only premiered in Utah once, so I'm not surprised you haven't heard of the musical. Anyways, I recommend you read it. It's a wonderful book.

"Let him rot" could use some more oomph in my opinion. It seemed a bit weak considering that it was the highlight... But since you dubbed rarity I guess I can'y blame you. Great job overall!

I think GloryoftheRainWings is one of the best Applejack voice actors I've ever heard. IMShadow007 is also one of the best Twilight voice actors I've ever heard. Yay! I really liked this.

This is very well covered though I'd have loved a little more change in volume. The whispered and more conversational sections are almost identical and what are vigorous lines cried out in glory as part of the original feel a little muffed in this. Though I understand singing in voices must have strangled the performance I'm simply pointing out a minor flaw in an overall excellent piece of work. The inclusion of their accents was delightfully done, as were the changes made to make it more MLP themed such as names and pony context.

+TRE THEGAMERMAN I think an author I follow on FIMFiction and Fanfiction wrote one involving Spike. Something about a Gem Grotto I think playing the part of the Count of Monte Cristo. Forgot which author it was and their name but if you google it and check FIMFiction you should find it. The title had Gem Grotto in it so there's that as a lead.

Amazing cover and beautiful sung! The one and only thing I wanted to hear was a little bit aggressivnes from Twilight. She sings beautiful but it's too calm, not like the original, in contrast to Rarity and Applejack singing with almost perfect recreation of the emotions in the song. Other than that I loved it!
