Is this the best, bang-for-your buck wireless lav mic system out there? No, there are better options within this price range, for sure. However, if you are not an audio professional and your focus is simply on content creation, and you don't want to deal with any type of learning curve whatsoever, then this actually may be a great fit for you - I mean that!
7RYMS is a very obscure brand, and I would like to see them iterate on this design with some better design choices. I'll be watching very closely!

P.S. I've tested two wireless Karaoke mics, the Singing Machine and the Tonor on my camera for video. Sound level is very low and the quality good enough for emergency use with voice. Both under $50 but not really worth the trouble. Spend $100+ for this one.

I feel that! Sometimes you do get what you pay for to an extent. Although I do have a tonor D5 and it's nice and loud on my Panasonic 981 - mileage may vary though. I should probably start mentioning what camera I'm using in these reviews so that the preamp can be taken into account lol.

Does the ulanzi j12 or am18, or the fulaim x5 beat this thing by a lot? The reverb button was kinda neat imo tho, ngl. I'm trying to see if there's something worth getting cheaper than the Comica you recommended in another video. Your mentioning the comica can really be treated as a good investment was a great point. Can any of these transmitters for lavalier mics be used with regular handheld mics? Or used with the desktop alabs ac88 to make it usable while walking around? 🤔 Edit: my goal is to be able to find mics I can use to record voice acting, and singing. Bonus points if I could record banjo on it too.

I like the AM18 for my voice more. It's got a little more warmth to it plus it has inputs & it's 24 bit. Less range though. So if that's your goal, I wouldn't go for lav mics then; they're not designed for that :) What you're looking for is a dynamic mic. They don't require phantom power which makes portability a little easier if that's something you're looking for. I've reviewed a few cheap handheld ones on here, but really there's tons of options and you could go with pretty much any of them. They usually come with really long cables and if you want to go wireless, you can get wireless adapters for them

For what it is, I was definitely impressed! Gonna be used for comparisons in the future probably, but maybe down the line, who knows! Got a long queue of things to send out first so don't hold out haha
