Yes Vernon does a lot of American dances and listens to American music but he says he is more connected to his Korean side because when he’s interviewed, people only see him as a foreigner so he has to remind them all that he’s lived in Korea since he was 5. His mom doesn’t speak Korean so he speaks it English at home but other than that, Vernon really speaks English sometimes on Award speeches, and interviews if he feels like it. And his song lyrics are more meaningful in my opinion since he can do both English and Korean meanings

I don't think so I think he's culturally more Korean, not only cause he said so, but cause beyond the trendy American dances and his love for Drake, his interactions, the way he socializes his mannerisms, his whole instinct is Korean, and ofc it's cause he was raised there, like my background is SK and I obsess over KPOP and speak Korean every chance I get, but my natural instinct when I see my best friend who's two years older than me is to hug her or give her or give her a high five, some type of physical greeting, while in SK if I did that I'd get the biggest scolding of my life lol. (ur not supposed to touch ppl even ur friends (which r ppl the same age as you) like it's weird you bow). You feel me? Like in comparison to Josh to me at least he's clearly way more comfortable and culturally Korean

Vernon’s culturally more Korean In terms of honestly just the down basics of culture cause he was raised there, things like mannerisms, formalities, social norms, and just beliefs u gain from what or where ur raised. He said once he visited LA and NEW YORK while touring, and through NY was his home city and America is his background he felt like a foreigner there cause like the natural instincts and just culture is different. Like I'm raised in Canada but my background is SK, I listen to KPOP, I eat Korean food, I speak Korean whenever I get the chance and in terms of makeup and fashion I'm very much Korean, but when it boils down to culture I'm more Canadian, because it's like here people are open, friendly, easy going, simple things like hugging your friend when you greet them is like wtf are you doing in SK like you do NOT touch unless ur bf/gf, it's so impolite (even shaking their hand, it's like no you B O W), while here I can be myself around anyone I can't do that in SK because it's just such a diff culture w social norms, what's right and wrong things like that. Ofc this is all in my eyes and a few things I thought maybe ya'll could connect with but I hope you get my point

I just discovered them early last year. When I heard Thanks, I instantly fell in love and I've been hooked since then. My bias is DK. Hes not only talented and fine asf, but omg he is a goofball, he makes me laugh a lot. Wonwoo is my bias wrecker. I absolutely think Hoshi is adorable and an amazing choreographer (Kino too). Our lil Woozi is a friggin amazing writer/producer. This group is lit asf. So much talent. and YES Make is Shine is amazing. The 1st version was good but I like the 2017 version the best.
