I like how Yuyuko can switch from adorable and sweet to being so serious, menacing and wise so quickly, and then switch back so quickly the next minute. Airhead ghost princess, to wise ghost princess, and then airhead again.

Thats what I really like about yuyuko. She is an airhead because she chooses to and really enjoys being one, not because she is actually stupid Probably because as her life ended with a suicide (implied reasons was because either her power was out of control and she killed everything besise her or because of self sacrifice, my headcanon is both reasons), she really knows how to enjoy her (after)life the fullest Also the fact that she is one of the rare girl in Gensokyo that wouldnt hurt or kill a normal human on sight is a plus

@@anonyme4881 Originally thought she was overrated but Yuyuko has certainly grown on me lately. Something about a character with that tragic a backstory choosing not to burden others with it and instead put on a bubbly and happy-go-lucky act adds a certain depth to her. She really does come across as someone who cares about others and tries to help, but does so in a cheery enough way so as to not dampen others moods. Compare that to Yukari, who seems to enjoy being cryptic and messing with people on a daily basis, and Okina, who just doesn't seem to care what others think so long as things go her way.

God Yuyu’s so cute! She’s even more cute when she smiles, eats that watermelon, and literally everything! Everything about Yuyuko is perfect! I love Yuyuko that I always think of her everyday. When I think of ghosts or food, Yuyuko always gets in my mind. She’s so precious, cute, beautiful, and she’s perfect! Yuyuko is the waifu of all waifus! There are no other waifus that can beat her cuteness. Yuyuko is the best of bests! I always smile whenever I see her. I always smile whenever I think of her. I always smile whenever I hear her PCB theme. Yuyuko will always have a very special special place in my heart.

Most of the main games probably isn't dark (excluding what happens in the background of the story), but this story itself goes trough the concept of illusion in which inheret the fear that the life we live in is fake or a lie. Also, touhou doujin (non - H to be specific) tend to go with darker story by using real mythology of said youkai/ god/ being's nature which is usually pretty dark. Another reason for it is just that people tend to like dark stories. Of course there are a lot of light hearted ones too, but the most famous tend to be the darker ones. In term of how close it is to the canon. Fanon (fan canon from fan work) can depict the character, story, scenario, setting, and even make new characters freely, as long as they put on a disclaimer that it is fan made that you usually see in touhou fan works.

@@valdemontano3810 Incorrect, she was aware of the area, because years prior, it was revealed that the Japanese government censored the fact that war criminals who tortured many soldiers from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, the Nederlands and Australia and New Zealand, often to death and permanent incapacitation were listed there. It was a national shitshow that went international. Furthermore, ignorance is not an excuse and neither is honouring any dead relatives there who were complicit in these heinous actions at the time of conflict.

She just wanted fresh air, not to fucking harm the morales of most of the people in China. I know Japan has had a bad history with China in the past, and I know they have their own rights, but I just don't want things to be unfair any longer, and I don't want this to slide. After the government of China(?) or their authorities decided to ransack Ai Kayano and hololive for just ONE, small offense, I started hating them for being so plain unjust and tyrannical in some way. I should've trusted most of them. I'll never forget what those authorities and netizens did to my favorite japanese idols, even if they never had done those in the first place. This is even includes China's own people.
