in the first day I was wearing my not perfect linen sion skirt in toast (size M/L no modifications, bought this myself) and my farnham tee by the knit purl girl www.ravelry.com/projects/marl...
on the second I’m wearing the #lento by jonna helin in woolyknit 4ply merino and drops alpaca & my dress is the #midimamadress I got as a gift from @notperfectlinen • its in juniper green, size M/L and I asked them to shorten it by about 15 cm [Werbung | AD]

The event sounds like a fun experience! I knitted Afterparty as an "afterparty" after finishing my Bachelor's a few years ago. 😀 I've lost weight since then, so I wear it only at home sometimes, but I've been thinking recently to knit it again in a smaller size!

Hi Marlene, Hab dich gleich abonniert. Ich freue mich immer so, wenn ich Strickpodcasts aus Deutschland finde. Dabei habe ich es garnicht gleich gemerkt. Dein Englisch ist so gut. 😅 Ich hab erst kurz vorher vom Swiss Yarn Festival erfahren und leider überschneidet es sich zeitlich mit meinem heimischen Leipziger Wollefest. (dieses und nächstes Jahr) 😔 Klingt aber echt fantastisch! Hatte auch schon die Folge Fruity Knitting dazu angesehen. Bin auf jeden Fall neugierig, was du sonst noch strickst und vielleicht schaffe ich es ja doch mal nach Zürich. 😊 Frohes Stricken! Bine

Ich habe beim Leipziger Wollefest am Wochende 3 Stränge "die hard" Mohair von Das Mondschaf gekauft - finde es auch so schön. WIrd zusammengehalten mit naturfarbener Frankenwolle :) Schöner Vlog/Recap!

Atreyu ist der junge Krieger aus Michael Endes Die Unendliche Geschichte ;-) Genau diese Farbe hatte ich letztes Jahr in Kassel beim Wollfestival schon im Auge. Dieses Jahr werde ich sie mir da dann auch endlich mitnehmen! Viel Freude mit deiner wundervollen Auswahl, ich liebe deine Farbpalette!

ahh ich dachte es sei ein akronym, da alles großgeschrieben war, im gegensatz zu den anderen namen! die unendliche geschichte kenne ich natürlich, aber der name sagt mir auch gerade nichts mehr, ist wohl doch schon eine weile her! also danke für den hinweis & vielleicht sehen wir uns dann ja in kassel ☺️ vielen dank!

Do you think that anxious energy or scarcity/ FOMO mentality is an American thing? I'm a US resident and my husband and I have often wondered that?

I‘m not sure! I wouldn’t want to assume anything or feeling like I know enough about it to connect it to a cultural background! I think a lot of times it’s good marketing and brands telling a compelling story which makes you want to be part of „it“ and it’s also a „hype“ thing maybe?

I enjoyed your trip to the Swiss Yarn Festival. Such a beautiful country, and lots of beautiful yarn. However, I don’t agree with your comment about J. K. Rowling. She has actual common sense. Women and men are biologically different, and thank God for that. Just saying you feel like the other doesn’t make you that. You’ll be wise to keep those types of opinions out of your knitting videos. Your knitting is great

dear ruth, no one is arguing against biological differences but there is no such thing as gender being binary and I don’t like someone telling me that „i‘ll be wise not to share an opinion“ just because someone else might believe something different. I‘m a person with a strong sense of justice and that all people should be treated with respect and that doesn’t end with my cis gendered friends. please keep in mind that I‘m not a surface that other people can project there world views on to, I’m a multifaceted person, not just a knitter and certainly not just here for your entertainment. please do feel free to stop watching videos and normalize unfollowing people if that’s something that helps you navigate your time online.

Ruth, perhaps you need to consider that your views are not wanted. Start your own channel where you judge others at will. You will surely find a lot of bigots to follow you. Now be gone with you.

Ruth, you’d be wise to keep your close minded views to yourself. The actual definition of a”gender” includes “actual or perceived sex, gender identity,and gender expression including a person’s actual or perceived gender related self image, appearance, behavior,expression, or their gender related characteristic, REGARDLESS of the sex assigned to that person at birth”.
