Just subscribed to your channel. My husband and I are absolutely in love with the beautiful trees that you have to work with. Are you getting them locally? Just gorgeous. We bought our home because we have many oaks in our yard that are over a hundred years old, sadly we are going to have to take a couple of them down. Thank you for sharing your craftsmanship with us.

You guys do beautiful work . I am curious why you use the ladder for every cut , even though you have a flat surface from the previous cut ??

We need to use the stairs. Tried without it, but the quality of the cut is lost. The reason is that there is always an error in sawing. And with a ladder you can correct flaws every time

Thank you, fellas for your response . That teaches me something, I have been using my chainsaws mill for a few years, I use a ladder for the initial cut then set the ladder aside and use the flat suface made from the previous cut , but I will try it your way to see if there is a difference.

I sort of just skimmed through, but one thing i noticed. When milling do not drive wedges in. That is not good, you are creating tension that should not be there. Simply put the wedge in as all you want to accomplish is keeping the kerf open.

Какие уникальные изделия сотворил мастер для террасы!!!!? Мебель на несколько поколений ! У соседей стоят скамьи из далекого 1914 года. Тоже толстые дубовые дрски. Конечно, никского лака нет на повнрхности. И не так красиво выглядят, но крепкие.
