I have never heard anyone explain the breakdown of fragrances as well as you. With your help, I have decided on the Le Parfum. I tried both the EDP and the Le Parfum today and tried hard to decide but I left Sephora confused. I want a bit less sweet “vanilla-y” on the dry down. Again I think the honey will help.❤

I think Le Parfum is the standout best of the Libre range. I’m not a fan of lavender in perfumes and hence, was put off by the lavender notes in the the original and intense. I found them a little too fresh and masculine for me, but, this one, with the combination of bourbon vanilla, saffron and honey, it has a unique, bold, sexy-refined sweetness, so for me holds this intoxicating and luxurious edge over the others.

I love your review. The details definitely help us decide which one(s) to get. Thanks for season suggestions. You also have a different approach to notes. I purchased the EDP by mistake. All I saw was YSL Libre, perfume and a price tag 21 bucks less than what I had seen. 🤩 Your review helped me decide on keeping the EDP or not. I love the sweet dry down of the Intense. I may now be okay with saving and getting 2 bottles from the line for different occasions/seasons. You rock!

You provided such a great review. Like you I thought the intense was great until I got the le perfume. It's on a whole other level, definitely the best out of the flankers.

Would love to see what you think of the l’absalou platine version Loved how you described all of them And by the way the edt is louder then the edp and probably is the only edt that lasts all day so give it a try I think you will really enjoy it ❤👍

What does logorrheic mean?

It’s in the dictionary. Here’s a clue: when a person has diarrhea, well you know what there’s too much of. Same with logorrhea! Root word logos, Greek word for word. It’s a kind way of saying, “diarrhea of the mouth”. Loquacity ad nauseam causes one’s brain to hear, “Blah blah blah! Speaking is an art which necessitates getting to the point or losing people’s attention. I literally wanted to scream after less than a minute in.
