The scenery of our home country Austria is beyond compare. We live in the heart of Europe where we have a spectacular combination of cultural and natural attractions. No matter what time of year, Austria will welcome you with „Schmäh“ and „Gemütlichkeit“.
We hope you enjoy this glimpse into the atmosphere of Austria’s cities and landscapes.
By the way: The voice-over is original footage of Felix Baumgartner's stratos mission in 2012.

Thank you to my youtube people for emailing this clip from Austria. I was there for 1 and a half years in Innzbruck and i love so much that country. I left Austria in 1969. I went to Germany and was there for 18 months then to Australia in 1971 in April. I have amazed ng memories during my time in Austria & Germany. I am a 73 yr old Bosnian born lady. jeez guys, all those Australia comments have nothing to do with education. It's about trolling and annoying others and Americans love doing that! I moved from Vienna to Canada and I can tell you, everyone I've met so far even from the US knows that Australia and Austria are two completely different countries :) But as much as Americans love to annoy and troll Canadians, they do it with every other country too. Julia Magarete well I am an Austrian American and I have met a shitload of people that actually think austria is australia or that it's next to australia. But since you live in Canada and all the uneducated Americans tend to not travel further than 15 miles away from their frontdoor you might've met the few smart ones.

RobDeeful When I hear this I always laugh :D Video renders fucking fast. Guys who say this have never done CGI. For perspective, one (1) frame of a CGI animation, can take longer to render than this whole video would. Myself I have rendered frame for a whole day once (that's 24 hours) on i8. That's a nightmare.. now imagine doing 2 minute and 54 seconds video out of that, it would be 4176 or 174 days just rendering that damn animation. Ofcourse the only thing you can do is PAY another company to render it for you, it's depressing.

This was absolutely stunning - I have no idea about how much effort went in the making of this masterpiece however, sooooo much respect for those timelapses, editing techniques, selected ambient sounds and amazing locations. One time I was in Austria (south region) in August the 15th, and it snowed... This short film took me back there for a few instants!

The camera is moved between EVERY shot. The distance it moves is calculated on how far you are from the object, it's detail and the effect you're trying to achieve. It could be an inch, a foot or whatever distance you choose; to make things easier it is common to use a repetitive, point of reference like the edge of paving bricks.

Wie habt ihr den "Blitz" bei Sekunde 00:30 erstellt? ...und wie erstellt man Fotos wo man die Sterne so klar sehen kann? Braucht man dafür spezielle Ausrüstung oder ein gutes Bearbeitungsprogramm? Danke für dieses atemberaubende Video und (hoffentlich) eure Antwort!!!!

Rene Watzinger In der Videobeschreibung sind alle Infos. Der "Blitz" ist, glaube ich, ganz einfach eine helle Lichtquelle, die durch die lange Belichtungszeit noch mehr auffällt. Und die Sterne sind genauso fotografiert. Belichtungszeit etwas länger und kleine Blende. Hoffe ich konnte helfen.
