Y’all old fucks need to chill. It’s called the progression of technology. They didn’t have synths that produced every sound imaginable back in the 14th and 15th century. That doesn’t make them anymore talented than people in the 19th, 20th or 21st century. Music evolves but looks like you fuck heads don’t. That’s sad.

Nothing is ever perfect. Considering one was black and the other one was Native American, they probably had to live through tough times. Not that things have improved much (social issues seem to be improving as music goes to hell) but still, enough that they wouldn't want those times back.,

I was so in love with the Bass player back in the day. I had never seen two girls play those instruments the way they did. It wasn’t rare in those days to see acts that could play, sing and dance but these gals did it with style with perfection. Their voices were totally awesome and the band was on point every time they stepped on the stage. You certainly don’t see that today that’s for sure. Taste of Honey was one of the hottest bands ever in the best era ever. So many good times and fantastic memories of days gone by.

A Taste Of Honey Boogie Oogie Oogie was a neat radio tune bringing in dance and disco to the late 1970s also (I think I heard this in 1975 when I was 14). It and Donna Summers, Chic and more brought disco floors to roller disco exercise floors using music like this for the beat! Thumbs up in another remarkable 1970s disco Era band until they return on dance floors again.

This is my all time favourite dance song. In my younger years I danced to this at the discos so many time. Janice-Marie Johnson and Carlita Dorhan are just awesome.

Why isn't Janice-Marie Johnson a household name? Not even a Wikipedia entry. Great singer, bassist songwriter.
