When I was locked up I had commissary not a lot but it was definitely be able to make a good spread at the end of the night coffee etc... I couldn't imagine being locked up without it.....

Part of my daily workout was squats. I would stand backwards at a picnic table or the chairs in the cells. I wold place one leg on the table ( shin) and i would do one legged squats. Then every other day i did squats at a pull up bar. I would have a dude sit on my shoulders and i would squat him while he balanced on the bars.

Man fichees or whatever you called it is rough. When I was locked up they would throw a deck of cards up and you would have to squat and pick one card up, squat down and put it in the box. Just a 104 and that would turn your legs into jelly.

That squats you were talking about, where I am from they are called Tyson Squats. I have seen dudes get 10 and he drove up. I once witness a dude do 25 of them without stopping and 2 days later he was pissing blood and couldn’t get up to get his tray.

@@evergreen4034 you may be right. I’m not a health care professional of any level. All I know is the next couple days had someone not brought his tray to him (we didn’t have a messhall, this was county) he would have starved to death. He had to also have help to make it to the toilet and he wouldn’t try sitting on the toilet but it was said there was blood in the toilet after he pissed. But like I said, I don’t know anything about conditions of the human body, I’m a coal miner. There could have been preexisting conditions.
