In my mind, if you have to "keep track" of someone's behavior, it's long past the time for them to be let go and/or charged... that is even more the case when it involves literally anything with our children.

Nope. No "gray areas". All allegations need to be reported and investigated. These are children we're talking about. That entire school needs to be investigated.

Disgusting. I am still messed up over a band instructor molestation of me. My parents reported it to the school. Naturally nothing was done. For those who ignore or even cover up this abuse shame on you. This perv should definitely have been reported.

Over in South Dakota we do it the right way. Not only from the first allegation is the teacher fired but the chances of him or her going to be facing criminal charges are very high 100% we don't have to ban him from school because they're behind bars with no bail and possibly facing a lot of time we need to start watching out for a little ones

That is a juvenile assertion. Every jurisdiction in the US has robust paper policies, but adherence and enforcement are completely different matters because they are influenced by cultural attitudes. South Dakota is far from unique in this regard. It was only a few years ago that the state convicted a doctor for ab*se that went unchecked for about *_two decades._*

My daughter was touched inappropriately by a youth Minister and I reported it to the pastor who said to his secretary We've got another parent reporting about this guy, apparently he has a long history of this and they continue to send him on to the next church/victims!

Did they have evidence? If not they may have worried about being sued. Was this based on rumors? There are rumors all the time that are unfounded or made up by angry people who want to make life miserable for someone. Sleepovers are inappropriate to begin with. So many creepy people out there.

Age-appropriate literature is not abuse, but diverting time energy and resources to conflate that with unambiguous abuse like you do here is part of the reason these cases don’t receive more attention. No matter what you tell yourself, people can see you don’t actually care about child welfare.

So allegations that were not investigated should go in someone's personel file? Allegations aren't evidence, and people lie all the time, usually for $$$. I feel bad for the theater kid that got bothered, but it has nothing to do with this case.
