Appreciate your gratitude. You wrote significant words: "It helps to boost beginners' confidence and enthusiasm to continue practicing and playing." Indeed, they boost. And we know it firsthand from our experience teaching students. W/o this experience, we wouldn't do the backing tracks = accompaniments. The violin is a subtle instrument, especially for intonation. With accompaniment, students play in tune more easily and correct their rhythm by intuition 'on the go'.

I am honestly learning on how to play this piece and the problem is myself having the notes and melody right. I love listening to this song when I am upset and I think it’s a good uplifting song that people all around the world should listen to at anytime.

Andrea, thanks for your heartfelt comment. Unfortunately, your request to remove the metronome is very susceptible (sensitive). This is our last defense against the outright use of our videos and the hard work we put into developing violin covers and tutorials. We are also trying to do justice to the one and only Christina Perri 👸 for her sacred, creative spirit. All the Heavens are singing along to her 'fantastic' song. 🎤 😇 Thank you again for your well wishes and following us. 🔥

"Know" doesn't count in music performance. There is a saying: "We'll start polishing the piece when you learn it by memory". Did you ever play in front of a large audience? Lots of "butterflies" you have to manage! Did you practice with the 𝐁acking 𝐓rack? I would do it daily... by memory, of course! Good luck w/ your junior high school graduation play!

@@MrCh00p, thanks for your replies. How did your 𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒎𝒂 like it? 1. To ensure we are on the same page, we are not discussing learning the notes (learning the letters for poetry read) here. We are discussing the skill of "reciting the poem", see: poetry4kids.com/lessons/how-to-recite-a-poem-like-an-expert/ First, try to sing the melody with the silent 𝐁𝐓 (not play on your violin, but hum it without words), kzfaq.info/get/bejne/d5h4Y6-lp5uXkWg.html Also, check out David Bolton's book 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜 to 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐝 𝐁𝐨𝐥𝐭𝐨𝐧 and the Amazon Reviews below. It's a treasure trove. 2. If you record yourself playing with the 𝐁𝐓 and then watch it back, you would benefit from such personal analysis. If you place your play video on KZfaq as Unlisted (or private), it would be closer to the play experience on stage. LIVE Play in front of people is ~ a 10x more fragile experience unless you grow your skill by doing it more often (like playing live on the Promenade, etc.). Thanks for engaging, Good luck!
