Join us on our 30 DAY EUROPEAN TRIP! It all started with a European trip we saved up for several years back in May 2020. Two years later, we're finally here on the adventure of a lifetime and we are so thrilled to share this experience with all of you 😊❤️ My greatest passion in life is traveling seeing our beautiful earth! I feel so grateful to be on this adventure learning more about our history, trying new foods, meeting new friends and of course finding 2nd hand treasures! I hope you tag along with Jesse and I for this 30 day adventure! Oh and my little sister Erin, and my nieces Sophie and Maya will be joining us for the first 10 days! Those little kitties are rests for butter knives! The dachshunds are the most common ones, so in Sweden we basically call all of these butter knife rests "butter dachshunds", no matter if they are dachshunds or not! ^_^

So happy you are having a wonderful time in London. It's my birth place so I am biased but I do love it so. That vase you picked up was made in Rye, East Sussex, where I live now. They are collectable pieces, and live in the Iden Pottery house where a lot of the pottery was made, its no longer in business but I often find pieces of Iden Pottery in antique and charity shops which I always snap up. Oh my that sounds so wonderful. I hope to visit England one day and make the rounds to the thrift and charity shops. I just recently discovered a whole lineage of ancestry from the U.K., English, Irish and Scottish. Deighton is named after my family, which I’ve traced back to my 22nd G grandfather in the 1200’s. Planning to spend a month or so exploring the history of family as well as shopping. So exciting. Looks like Laura had a wonderful time...

I have always wanted to mudlark on the foreshore of the River Thames. The thought of possibly finding remnants of Roman pottery or a Roman coin, an old clay pipe or a piece of victorian jewelry intrigues me. If I were ever to visit London, I'd be down in the mud every day!!

Great that you and the family are starting your European ‘Tour’ in our Capital City 👍👏👏… You all have excitement ‘overload’….with very good reason…. Great choices of places you visited… particularly the antique/flea markets…. AND the food markets too….It must be so hard not to buy ‘tons’ of goodies..there…. So very well done…all of you!!!🤣🤣🤣…. Love the silver jewellery…. Also the prices in ‘Quids’… proper English!!… love it 👏👏…It was particularly touching when you visited Westminster Abbey…crying is no shame at all…It is such an awe-inspiring place…you would indeed be ‘messed up’ if you weren’t affected by …as your nieces rightly said!!!…. They are lovely young ladies…and what a wonderful and unforgettable holiday for them… and a promise fulfilled by a very thoughtful Aunt👏👏…. Will be eagerly watching every new country you visit….I’m sure you will be fascinated by all of them and their differences… not forgetting more ‘treasures’…to find in each of their antique centres and markets!!!…. I loved my visit to London many years ago when my mother-in-law treated me and my sister-in-law to a week in London. Best trip ever! I remember visiting Westminster and thinking that I was walking on the actual ancient stones that Kings and Queens stepped on. The Tower of London was like that too and the rooms were so small in relative to what I imagined. Also, the place where beheadings took place was just a small wood block in front of the Queen's residences at the Tower and not this big scaffolding like depicted in movies. You'll love Windsor castle and the town of Windsor. I loved the cobblestone alleyways and the gargoyles you see on buildings all over London. I hope your visiting Germany,(which is where I was born )and visit the Black Forest. Heidelberg is beautiful and you'd love the Castle.

Oh Laura Girlie🤗how wonderful for you to experience this trip together, I’ve noticed that most of my favorite vloggers are very family oriented , you are a wonderful Auntie, my daughter was Nanny to our grandsons and as she traveled and lived overseas for six years, she always sent them packages, notes, postcards and FaceTimed to stay connected to them throughout, they are still too young to travel but that is a plan for someday to do this with her, thankful she’s back here in the states as of now so we all look forward to that someday, be safe and enjoy it all🙋🏻‍♀️💕💕💕💕💕

Hi Laura. Love your thriffting tour of London. The flea markets you went to I didn't even know they exsitted and I live in London. Thankyou for teaching me something new . I do agree with you about the escalators on the tube but I find going up is easier than going down at least when going up you don't see the long drop behind you.

I’m so so glad you finally got to see some of the places you’d been hoping to for so long! I love your positive attitude as always and seeing somewhere so familiar to me through a new perspective is so much fun ☺️ I’m from Cambridge (a little under an hour north of London) which is steeped in its own history. My gram took me when I was 15, she was born and raised in Scotland. I wish I could go back now, 15 years later. I think it would be an entirely different experience! I totally felt that emotion when you were at Westminster. You’re a sweet soul 🥰

Thanks for bringing me back to one of my favorite cities, especially for thrifting. I still have the large Staffordshire spaniel I bought in Petticoat Lane--he rode home in the plane on my lap. BTW, that lovely filagree bird dish was a peacock--too bad he was so pricey. Carry on having fun with your family and the locals.

OMG Laura, I waited until I was uninterrupted to watch this! I lived in London for 25 years until 3 years ago and seeing it through a visitors eyes makes me miss it sooo much! As you love cheese and wine, If you get chance, try and visit Gordon’s wine bar on Villers street near Charing Cross tube for cheese and wine, it gets very busy so early is good. Can’t wait to see more of your trip.
